Jefferson Paris is a reggae artist who started his artistic career in 1989, and did his first recording in 1990. During the years he performed in different shows including the opening act for the “Burning Spears” concert here in Aruba, which he did with the band called “Unity”. In 2007 Jefferson Paris took his career to the next level with the song “It’s not Easy” of which he made his first official music video. This was also the first Aruban music video to be played on the Caribbean Network “Tempo”. Seeking to take his music to the next level Jefferson Paris travelled to Jamaica in August 2011 to meet with different reggae producers and artists. There is also where he did his first international performance in December 2011 on the “Old School meets New School” concert of Lady Junie Platinum with over 40 reggae artists including Sizzla, Beenie Man, Horate Andy, Pinchers, I-Shenko and Prophecy. Jefferson Paris is currently working with the producer Calibud from “Calibud Music” out of Bobby Digital Studio in Jamaica whom produced the riddem for the song “On A Mission”. This is also the promotional song for the next album of Jefferson Paris, which will be released soon. As an artist Jefferson Paris’ mission is to bring positive music to ARUBA and around the world.
