Ourselves + Others is a Synth-Pop/Rock band from Houston, Texas, formed in April 2016 by high school friends Jonathan Barrett (keys/vocals) and Stephen King (drums). After their first original song, “Weatherman,” was self-released in July 2017 to a positive reception, King made the decision to leave school at the University of Texas at Austin in order to move back to Houston and pursue the band full time. In November of that year, Ourselves + Others added longtime friend Mateo Rodriguez (guitar/keys/vocals) to the roster and became a trio. They then began playing shows all around Texas in promotion of their debut EP 'Rudiment', which is out now.
