Atlanta, USA-based Logam features on the weighty 'Vintage', while MC Kryptomedic leaves his mark on the ruthlessly technical 'Upgrade'. Zombie Cats rounds the EP out with the diverse neuro stepper 'Moments of Truth'. True versatility from this fast-rising duo, who are proving to be a powerful force in drum & bass. The vile resting ground had nurtured their twisted feline forms, arching their twisted spines in death’s torment - filling them with the insatiable hunger for life… Driven by unrequitable desires to cross back through the veil of the deceased. 

Their bones trembled beneath the damp earth, full of rage and grim determination; shaking loose the soil of their burial ground… Pushing upward towards the night air and breaking free of the eternal slumber – back into the realm of warm life, full of those ready to be fed upon. Skeletal tails wove through the shadows of night, sharp incisors ready to feast on their prey, glinting in the light of the fragile moon - the Zombie Cats are stalking the night again and no warm creature is safe whilst they are ALIVE!

The ZOMBIE CATS make a dramatic return to the EATBRAIN label, following up their much-loved Must Eat EP with the terrors of their fresh ALIVE EP (also featuring SAFRA and core Eatbrain producer L 33). The duo lay down 5 tracks of horror-driven dnb designed to precisely shock and captivate the dance. Gray has been making waves at Born On Road HQ since our 1st slightly bizarre meeting with him in a field in Winchester at a popular music festival in 2018. Though his roots run a lot deeper. He cut his teeth though the free party scene in his hometown of London proving he has the minerals whist effortlessly mixing between styles.

Since moving to Bristol he has fully submerged himself into the circuit growing ever popular amongst ravers who have taken to joining in with the infectious vocals of his newly acclaimed anthem ‘Rubadub’, just one of the tunes off this heavyweight EP that has been doing major damage over the summer and is already turning the heads of some of the big players in the scene and it’s sub genres!

Gray has also enrolled the talents of two veterans of the scene, The Ragga Twins drop the lead line on Blood, a hard hitting bass heavy tune.

This EP is rammed packed full of goodness and comes with our certified Born On Road dance floor seal of approval, we are super hyped to welcome Gray as a member of our ever expanding family and we all look forward to working with him more in the future. But for now we’ll let the music do the talking…
