Recorded a cool melody 2 days ago. Went through some of my old notepads today and found some gold. I wrote it back in March of 2016. I don't believe in fate, destiny, or predestination, yet it seems like this song/poem I wrote, knew it was for the future-2023.(Not really but I like the idea anyways)

An original composition......This probably as close to channeling the sound of Neil Young on original tune. I have played so much of Neil Young through the years his sound has implanted itself in my brain. 

Lyrics

Oh, the memories linger in the midnight air,
Of missed opportunities that lead to despair.
I could have been the leader of the band,
If only I had the ability to remember.



Could have had that young lady by my side,
If only not so anxious and shy.
Foreboding, I watched as the time flew by
Wishing for what could have been.


Reflections, they reverberate in my mind
Echoing in the silence deep and intertwined
I let the chances slip away,

If I had joined the choir of other voices,
Perhaps the singing would have been an earlier joy
