I worked in traditional terrestrial radio with my shows in the '80s and 90's in Miami, FL, and then in internet radio. I had a couple of New Music shows, and Miami even had a New Music festival. This genre was the least commercial you could encounter! :) It involved the world of John Cage's sound work, experimental music, word, sound art, electronic, field recordings, world, jazz, and even modernist, avant-garde 20th-century music. It was--is--still exists- a rich, creative world. I felt at home. Also, had studied a little music ages ago, piano mostly, and have had an interest in sound overall, and a wide range of musical interests. I appreciate musicianship or musical talent.

So, I enjoy having simple tools to experiment with sound-making, just for fun personally, as well as podcasting, etc, keeping it open to see where it goes.
