DJ PAPA-RICH SELECTOR OF REGGAE , DUB , DANCEHALL , JUNGLE , DRUM AND BASS . ( FORMALLY KNOWN AS D-VIL )  THE BEST WAY TO HEAL IS TO FEEL THE SOUND OF DEEP BASS , DRUMS AND A GOOD MELODY.  I was born in 1985 and raised in Wiltshire. When the music was at it's best from my opinion, progressing over some years with lots of different types of sounds coming into music. In my childhood I remember looking out to the forest on the horizon from my bedroom window one late night being woken up by this terrible deep thundering bass noise I saw different coloured lines of light reaching high up to the night sky and then noticed police sirens going up the road past my house in a hurry in the direction of the forest.I remember thinking the world is under attack and that aliens have landed up the road in the forest. This was my first introduction to rave music in the early 90s with illegal happy hardcore and techno raves being a big thing in the heart of the west country. Growing up and leaving school with a big love for early jungle / drum and bass i collected tape packs and vinyl from the local record shops and went as far as I could travel to dig through 100s of crates just to pick a few bangers. I brought my first set of decks I think in the year 2000, with an already big selection of happy hardcore and jungle on vynel I learned and taught myself how to mix and beat match. There was alot of record shops back then in most towns and it was good to spend hours looking through all the records and picking the ones I liked then meeting up with mates in the evening to get on it and have a mix up on the decks before going out to a rave or night out somewhere. It wasn't long before a dj friend and myself began to plan to put on events in our local town for drum and bass nights which went on for a good few years. I was known as DJ D-vil and was involved in many different events and promotions being regularly booked to play at drum and bass nights all over the south west and coast. Like all things it faded after some years and I began to lose interest with the whole face fits promoters arse malarkey and the hard drugs at every corner. I developed a love for reggae in the years that followed and realized I have missed out on some really good music and a different vibe altogether. I hunted through 1000s of tunes from all the old greats of reggae and listened , discovering a whole universe of reggae music. Attending massive uk dub events and sound clashes  was really good and loved every adventure going to them .Eventually I got married and went to Jamaica on our honeymoon. We visited many parts and places of the island and my love and knowledge for reggae and dancehall was growing stronger. Upon returning I booked tickets to my first venture to the one love festival uk and saw many of today's great artists and performers play. I decided that it was time I should become a selecta so I can play the music and the tunes that I love to a crowd.  I recorded dancehall mixes which caught the attention of the bruton dub club who contacted me with regards to playing a dj set for them with many more bookings to follow. I put a small reggae night on in my local town and had bristols roots inspiration soundsystem supply the sound and had the place rocking. The next day I had a message from the main man tom and he said if I wanted to play and do what I do on soundsystems then I should call myself a name which they had thought about and choose for me PAPA-RICH.  The rest is history in the making ❤💛💚

DJ Shoxx is an up and coming DJ/Producer hailing from Birmingham.
 
Shoxx was introduced to Reggae music at a very tender age by his Grandfather (who was the main Sound man engineer in Birmingham back then and closely affiliated with most birmingham Sound guys).
As his Grandfather is a Jamaican Sound System veteran Shoxx has a vast knowledge of Reggae and has been collecting vinyl sine he was 11.
 
During childhood he watched his Grandfather build valve amps along with various parts of sound equipment, naturally followed suit and in time learned how to make his own music hence his authentic style of Ragga Jungle.  
 
Shoxx has support from Marvelous Cain, Kenny Ken, Torchman , Warren B and other key players in the scene gaining respect within his role and elevating to higher standards.
 
As DJ Shoxx  gets geared up to make his mark in the scene look out for a lot from this new kid on the block as he’s destined for great things.

Marvellous Cain had a series of big tunes since the heydayz of  jungle, including “The Hitman”, “ Every Day Junglist”,  “Dub Plate Style.” A DJ as well as producer Cain began typically enough, spinning rave and hardcore in the late ’80s at venues like “In-Ter-Dance”, “Overdose” & “Innersense” and following the style into jungle by the middle of the decade. He established his own label, Runninz. Cain released Gun Talk, a full-length collection of his most well-known tracks on Sub Base in 1996. DJ at an international level he has since rebranded the labels into "YARDROCK". This label has turned out good sessions of releases including "The HitMan Album feat Cutty Ranks remixed by various artists released 2017, the album has been featured on both Radio one & Kiss Fm, With the resent release of The DubPlate EP form Sub Base in 2021 gaining him a number 3 position on the gallup chart. 
The HitMan this iconic tune has stood up to the tests of time and has now been brought into the ears of the next generation with this 38 track remix album released in 2017 hitting No1 in the D&B chart with remixes from the Likes of Nicky Blackmarket, DJ Hype, Benny L, Bladerunner & serial killaz to name a few, And his HitMan Remix Album hit No 2 in the album charts and No 1 in the singles chart. Marvellous has since worked his magic on a sample pack for LOOPMASTERS. And after being nominated for 3 awards @ The We Love Jungle Awards 2015, He has since been released tunes on labels like “Subway Sounds”, “Kartoons” & “Digital Roots”.
One thing you can clearly say is Cain has not lost any of his appeal in the jungle drum & bass scene to the various radio shows that he guests on (ie) Rough Tempo, Koollondon, LifeFm.Tv, Pyro Radio, Dream FM. live steam. and has performed at Festivals like Boomtown Festival, The Big Noise Festival, Outlook Festival, Edinburgh Festival, Tokyo World Festival, Rumbellion Festival, Raver Tots, Back of Beyond Festival, Kingston Carnival & Hackney. the style of music and entertainment that the he brings has been set to a higher standard just the thing you'd expect from the Cain.
