Die Begeisterung zur Musik begann bei aayam schon in jungem Alter, als er Indie-Rock und die 60er für sich entdeckte. Schnell wurde klar, dass das bloße Zuhören nicht genug war und so begann er im Alter von 8 Jahren Schlagzeug zu spielen. Neben den Drums spielte er zudem im Schlagzeug-Ensemble der Musikschule, wo er unter anderem in die Welt der traditionellen  afrikanischen Musik eintauchen konnte.
Der Grundstein für Taktgefühl und musikalisches Wissen war also früh gelegt. Im weiteren Verlauf seiner musikalischen Karriere widmete er sich im Alter von 15 Jahren der Gitarre. Dadurch konnte er sein musikalisches Wissen weiter ausbauen und vertiefen.
Die frühen musikalischen Einflüsse lassen sich auch heute noch im Sound des DJs finden - ob Downtempo, vielfältige Afro House Sets, verträumter Deep House oder treibende Progressive-House Sets - bei seinem Sound bleibt mit Sicherheit kein Tanzbein still.

Nick Rosa is an Italian DJ and Producer based in London since 2009; his electronic performances are composed of a dynamic blend of Deep, Tech, and Progressive House, creating warm and crepuscular soundscapes driven by his devotion to the classic Balearic sound of Ibiza and his passion for underground experimental explorations.

With previous residencies in famous clubs in Italy like Hollywood, Alcatraz, and Rainbow in Milan, he performed at some of the best clubs in London, including Ministry of Sound, the Oval Space, and the Egg.

His radio show, “Sonic State”, goes on air every second Sunday of the Month at 11:00 PM (UK) / 00:00 AM (Central Europe) on Ibiza Global Radio.
