— About the project:

“Over the past few years, Shane and I have become good friends and, due to our mutual love of progressive house/uplifting trance, have always wanted to write something together in that vein. Eternal Healer started as a simple synth jam of mine with some admittedly random vocals recorded overtop. Upon hearing this little demo, Shane took it upon himself to draft an entire arrangement almost overnight. With a few more weeks of production work on his end and vocal work on mine, the song had finally come to life. Not only that, at an emotional level, its seemingly arbitrary lyrical content somehow now made sense. We’ve been sitting on this one for a while — hope you enjoy!” — Alexander

"Alexander and I always shared a mutual love and enthusiasm for trance and progressive house music, which sparked many passionate conversations between us around the genre. One commonly brought up in passing was the idea of collaborating together, though we never found the time to discuss it in seriousness or give any significant thought to what we would make. One day, Alexander sent me an audio clip titled "Come Bless My Soul". It was a project from one his most recent recording sessions. Upon listening to the wav file, I immediately fell in love with the groove and feel of the track and was addicted with how the time signature sounded in context with the arrangement. Replaying the minute-long track about a hundred times, I started accumulating ideas in my head that I began writing; eventually leading to me drafting my take on the original WIP. Alexander expressed immense joy after listening to my version of the track, which inspired us to finally make a track together. Eternal healer is the result of our combined efforts, and I hope you enjoy this labor of love." — Shane
