I can't believe this is finally out!! SO PUMPED!!

this touched me.... i loved music... i play piano when i had 4 years old... i remember being able to replicate sounds on my piano i can hear at this age... later i got to the musician school but not being happy with the instruments that i have to play here i was always listening to dubstep. Then i remember when my friend @soffizlly teached me about FL Studio. and stuff.. i got some cool tracks, some amazing memories doing them. piece of me in my own creation.. i produced for 5 years... Until 2022 when i spread coffee on my laptop and sadly destroyed whole data of the computer:( i lost everything i collected. sample packs, plugins, my projects while i was spending 80 hours in... everything lost.. its been a year without any music production from me... my mom's believes in me.. i was slowly losing hope .. and today. im listening to this track... and exacly like you said. Artists should inspire us. Thank you for inspire me. You are great artist. wish you great future man!

You really put into words exactly how I feel about being an artist. What being an artist really means. You nailed it. I don't know if I would have ever been able to communicate it as well as you did, and I'll definitely be sending this song or using it as inspiration for an answer to similar questions. That's really what it comes down to, IMO: Being an artist is to inspire others, bring forward new ideas, and to influence future projects. All on top of enjoying the process & your own work along the way.

In 2019 I realized everything I was doing was pointless.

Today's musicians are placed in a stupidly toxic position. If they aren’t feeding the algorithm, constantly growing and doing 10 jobs at once, all of their hard work is swept away by the endless waves of new music and competition. I remember feeling like I was working harder than anybody, but I treated myself like shit for not hitting the same numbers as other musicians which led to toxic work habits. Maybe if I made MORE music or BETTER sound design I could get the numbers they had? Maybe I need to make more short form content? Maybe I need to change my sound? The doubts just kept rolling in and I was killing myself by doing what I THOUGHT I should be doing.

The truth is, we ask ourselves the wrong questions and create this toxic position for ourselves. I didn’t NEED the numbers to be happy. Yeah I have to make money to live, but it didn’t NEED to be from music for me to finally BE happy. As long as I could sustain myself and MAKE music that would make me pretty happy, right? What the fuck was the point in doing this to myself?

I think it was 2020 when I finally started asking the right questions; “Why am I doing this? What are my true goals? Why does ANY of what I create matter?” These were my answers…

1) What I wanted to do was create ANYTHING that made me feel proud; music, art and all. 
2) My goals were to have a sustainable income and ensure I had time to create and be social. 
3) What I was making hardly mattered in the world and especially to myself.

I didn’t like the answer I gave myself on the last question, so I took a step back from being a musician, and I decided I wanted to become an Artist. I wanted my shit to matter, at bare minimum, to myself. I’ll say in highsight, this is the best choice I ever made and I am happy.

This is the foundation of who I was as a musician and my journey to becoming what I self define as an "Artist". I'm excited to hear what you think about the music, how you interpret it and I want to thank you so much for being with me in this moment.
