Founded in 1891, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is consistently hailed as one of the greatest orchestras in the world. In collaboration with the best conductors and guest artists on the international music scene, the CSO performs well over one hundred concerts each year at its downtown home, Symphony Center, and at the Ravinia Festival on Chicago’s North Shore, where it is in residency each summer. Collegium 1704 and Collegium Vocale 1704 are acclaimed for their recordings (Diapason d’Or, Gramophone Magazine) as well as opera projects (Mysliveček‘s Olimpiade nominated for International Opera Awards, Händel‘s Rinaldo) and concerts (with Magdalena Kožená, Bejun Mehta etc.). Their past and future appearances include Theater an der Wien, Salzburger Festspele, Luzerner Festival, Konzerthaus, Wratislavia Cantans, residences in Oude Muziek Utrecht and Bachfest Leipzig and two own concerts series in Prague and Dresden.
