We are happy to present to you for the 30th edition of the Catharsis Cast Taube, with a Modular Liveset.
Taube is a young Berliner who has been active in the local scene since 2013, hosting parties, djing, and performing his own music live.
In 2017 he relaunched the electronic music Label Sowasvon, with his two colleagues Steven Maff & Wynt, as well as his own Label Taube.
Taube's electronic music is specified by driving beats, careful sound design, and forward driving sequences.
This you can hear in the set he made for us.

For many years he was the unmistakable "Electro King of the South the Netherlands", he was a big inspiration for many dj's, producers and youngsters, by organizing lots of events, giving room for new talent and giving workshops. He runs Recordstore Tunesville, nowadays no longer a physical store but merely on Discogs . DJ Zaxxon was the first organizer who invited me to play in venues, for which I am ever thankful. Later I was also able to return the favor to invite Zaxxon on many events I organized; I do remember one NYE where we asked him to play at 10.00 a.m. - good(morning) times ! “10K was originally recorded in 2017 as a simple piano-leading ambient
track during a home studio session. It was developed further only in 2020 after Simone & Luca invited me to contribute to the project. A sudden burst of inspiration came during a mix-down session when I tried to re-record the original timbre of the piano. Eventually, while experimenting, it went a completely different direction and the track turned into its present form. Thanks to Simone for an encouraging word while I was working on the track.” - Etapp Kyle

U-SRD is a DJ/Producer duo from San Francisco, California launched in 2016 by Loammi Rodas, and Fabrizio Uscanga. Coming from distinctly different musical backgrounds, both artists found common ground with a shared love of Techno after many years of DJing. A passion for hardware, and modular synthesis further cemented their journey into production as a duo. Over the last few years they’ve generated a significant following in SF, and in 2018 teamed up as partners with the Konstruct Techno events crew. Early that same year they were picked up by San Francisco/Seattle Techno label, From 0-1 and signed three original tracks, to be featured on their debut EP slated for release early in 2019. Expect a mental and hypnotic approach to their live/DJ performance; already starting to make waves beyond San Francisco.
