Wow, what a piece! The way it evolves is very musically engaging. Production is excellent. The sonic space is so clear.

Although it's hard to imagine, behind this drone ambient there is only monophonic Korg NTS-1 synthesizer controlled by a Korg SQ-64 sequencer (which I bought today :).

The star..Antares is visible in the sky all night in May of each year, when she is is at opposition to the Sun. At this time, Antares rises at dusk and sets at dawn. For approximately two to three weeks on either side of November 30, Antares is not visible in the night sky, because it is in near conjunction with the Sun...This song tries to convey a sense of peace yet of our mortality. Antares has a particular importance for me, a feeling of fragility but also of the awakening of our spirit...

Track from the Relaxed Machinery compilation album "sleepMODE".  This compilation is very special - it features all 13 artists on Relaxed Machinery.  The concept of the album is the machines in the factory have finished their shift, and are now entering "sleep mode".  What do they dream of?
