My first Surround track, i´ll finish the description later :)
I had to go, so now i´m gonna finish this:)  Well the basic idea was to create an instrumental track for Workout. The first version was pretty monotonous, so i had several listeners who told me to tweak it a bit, an try to create somethign special, which i hope i did. :) In general every track, or better to say the first really early parts are all piano based, and later turn into Polysynth or sth. else. 

Hope you enjoy the Song, and for the best listining experience you should listen to this track using a Surroundsystem (i would reccomend Floorstanding Speakers for Front etc, so they shouldn´t be so small.)

Composed & produced by Max Kelm and Manuel Igler. This piece was composed for a dance project we had to do at university in collaboration with a choreographer. Both the dance and the composition were inspired by a painting called "Circles in a Circle" by Kandinsky.

Freak Ass Marimba

Hi i´m Christoph, 

i started out recording and "mixing" music back in 2005/6. Since than i developed a stronger love for high quality audio in general, but furthermore for good live music. At the age of maybe 15 or 16 i got my hands on a Behringer Mixer, and from that moment allways enjoyed mixing others in church or any other opportunity. To be honest all this fancy gear people show off at Musikmesse or similar events, excited me. Some years down the road i met some professional audio engineers. To me that´s been a game changer. Realizing that it´s not the fancy gear that is the foundation of a great song and a great record. With this in mind, i started learning the basics of mixing and recording from professional people, and i still on my way learning new stuff every day. 


This page offers you a short overview over the songs i wrote, arranged and recorded myself. Furthermore you can listen to some songs beeing recorded and mixed or even remixed at a later stage.
