Rising star AJ Christou and Canadian dancefloor powerhouse and turntablist A-Trak’s deep, dreamy label debut on Jamie Jones’ Paradise Music features Chicago house legend Robert Owens on vocals and marks an impressive start to the label’s year.

After a busy 2024 that saw Christou make his Space Miami debut for Jones’ Paradise event and host his own label showcase at Hï Ibiza, he’s back in the studio with A-Trak, the New York-based luminary whose 25-year legacy includes Coachella performances, BBC Radio 1 Essential mixes, and global anthems as Duck Sauce alongside Arman Van Helden.

Following their successful 2024 collaboration ‘Sway’ on A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records, the pair now deliver another killer track with ‘Escape’. The cut opens with a smooth and funky vibe, layering seductive house rhythms, weighty drums, and Robert Owen's alluring vocals to create a luscious wave of late-night wonkiness. The Temple Dub then takes over with Owens’ vocals at the forefront, set against a nimble bassline, snappy percussion, and sizzling synths.

Hailing from Constanța and now based in Bucharest, he has played at iconic venues such as fabric, Fuse, and Club Space while becoming a mainstay at the legendary Sunwaves festival. As the co-founder of UVAR, one of Romanias leading imprints, his inuence within the minimal-leaning house realm continues to grow, and here he makes his label debut on Solid Grooves Raw with the ttingly titled Gave You My Heart on 14th February. 

Gave You My Heart fuses hypnotic rhythms, deep grooves, and intricate textures beneath hooky vocal snippets for a rolling, atmospheric trip, embodying the essence of Solid Grooves Raw while staying true to his distinct sonic identity.
