I am the original JOY (circa 1994): a recording artist, amusic producer, an audio engineer, a Live PA, and DJ. I perform at festivals and underground venues. I play funky, tribal, techno-house in the warehouses and original, sexy AF electronic-downtempo at festival sunrise sets.  My genre style is laced with a kickback to the 90's era of chillout music production vibe.

I play guitar and bass and I'm also afflicted with a growing synth addiction. A home recording enthusiast, my screen name is a nod to the 4 tracking rite of passage that was hunting down high position, high bias tape cassettes :) I miss de-magging the tape heads of my Tascam portastudio, but with Reaper DAW and a universe of plugins I am now a part of the brave new world :)
