I thought it'd be fitting to do an "Undertale" track for today (that reads horribly but you get what I mean), so here's what I came up with.

'Ello.
Had a bit of a special idea. This isn't a grand return or anything like that, in fact it's quite the opposite. It's a medley of some of my things using the skeleton of a song some of you are probably familiar with. I thought it'd be nice.
I haven't been posting anywhere recently, including YouTube, because I've been feeling more enjoyment out of just making things rather than posting them online and having any kind of social media page or anything. And also cuz y'know, not really UTSCing anymore. I'm still practicing music though, just privately.

Not much to say for this one. It was fun experimenting with the composition.

001 - Once Upon A Time

Inspired mostly by Earthbound's Main Menu theme.

002 - Start Menu

After getting used to make so much of intense battle music, it becomes REALLY hard to make "happy" sounding music. Agan, not a lot to say for this one, enjoy!

003 - Your Best Friend

For this one, while I wanted to keep some of the nostalgic feeling of the original, I went for something more melancholic for the second half. One of my favourite themes to make!

004 - Fallen Down

I'm not sure if this one's as effective as the original, but I had a lot of fun composing it, gave me a chance to try out new stuff.

005 - Ruins

* Heh. Feels nice just to chill after a long night of saving the world, right?
* Relaxing and all that, It's great.
* Thinking back on the past few days, it's really crazy that this all started only a couple days ago.
* Y'know, it feels like it's been way longer. With the storage closet, the computer lab...

Papyrus takes Kris and Suzy out on a nice "date" of sorts; nothing spooky, no talk of death or resets, or even their impending battle with the queen of the Underground... Just some pure, wholesome Papyrus-y fun.

This most likely takes place in some kind of park (more likely an ice rink at this point), and involves Kris, Suzy and Papyrus sharing some kind of warm meal by the end of it, before he drops them back off where he happened to run into them.

[GSORUNE] - Hey, knucklehead, you ain't gonna win.

"071" is one of my favorite tracks in the original game. It's inexplicable how it can convey so much emotions at once; expectancy, sadness, hope. It is a really special track and it earns its title by how it conveys what makes Undertale truly unique. 

Because of that, I really wanted to do justice to this track. It actually went through many different versions, but this one is the one that really struck with me. While it may be shorter than the original track, I feel actually proud of how it's composed, the way it remixes the main theme, and so many other things. Just the same, I hope you like it.

In order to celebrate Undertale's 8th Anniversary, I'm introducing the 'UNDERTALE: Alternate' project; A musical project that consists on completely rewriting each and every song on the Undertale OST, as a love letter to the game that inspired me to become a musician. This project in no way tries to replace the original songs, but is rather a test made for fun.
