"The reason I selected this for the series was, for myself, it being personal time piece, the quality of the tracks and the mix being consistently good. Building through some great soulful house vocals and dubs into some deep cuts that haven't dated since it's release in 2002. Having quite a few of these on vinyl picked up around the time, including Mindflight's "Release", Derrick White's "Soul 2 Let Go" and Kerri Chandler's "Atmospheric Beats" the mix by silky deep house man Miguel Migs was never far from the earlobes at the time. And being released on the ever consistently good Naked Music label, its great from start to finish. A true reflection of the kinds of tracks I played out in sets when I started out DJing. Enjoy!!" Für unsere #119  konnten wir niemand geringeren als die überaus sympathische Dänin „Ida Daugaard“ gewinnen. Mit ihrem einzigartigen Stil, dem bezaubernden Lächeln und jeder Menge dreckigen Beats fernab des Trends hat sie uns schon lange um den Finger gewickelt. Zu Recht, wie wir finden.

Ida Daugaard began vor über 8 Jahren mit dem Mixen in ihrem Wohnzimmer. Ihre selbst erstandenen Pioneer 800 Cdjs, mit denen Sie ihre ersten Mixe aufnahm, sollten der Anfang einer blühenden Kariere werden. Ob sie es damals schon wusste? Eher nicht. Doch eins stand damals schon fest. Ihr mainstreamabgewandter Stil, nämlich klassisch, reduziert, deep,  und verspuhlt zugleich zu spielen, war Türöffner für alles was folgen sollte. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit wurde sie nämlich Resident in der „Culture Box“, dem „Rust“ und „KB18“, sowie dem „Vega“, um nur einige bekannte Copenhagener Clubs zu nennen. 

Im Jahr 2014 erkannte Sie die musikalischen Möglichkeiten in Berlin und schlug fortan dort ihre Zelte auf. Schnell folgten regelmäßige Auftritte in der „Ypse“, dem „Golden Gate“ und natürlich dem „Kater Blau“. Mittlerweile ist sie in der ganzen Welt gefragt. Tendenz steigend.

Ihr eingespielter Mix ist eine schöne Reise durch die weiten Welten der Hypnose. Anfangs eher düster und pulsierend, bindet sie nach und nach immer mehr Flächen ein, die zum Träumen einladen. Dabei hält sie gekonnt den Spagat zwischen Traum und Tanz. Eine Formel die süchtig macht. Dazu technisch und stilistisch stimmig fein abgemischt. Ein Genus und das ist untertrieben.
Musik, die wie gemalt ist für eine perfekte Afterhour.

Wir sind unglaublich froh dass wir Ida für unsere Reihe gewinnen konnten. Wir danken dir von Herzen für dieses bewusstseinserweiternde Set.

Soheil and Kory began their journey as A.D.D. in 2013, when they realized their musical taste and goals were identical. Neither of these guys grew up in a musical family, however, at a young age, both Kory & Soheil knew music was in their veins.

Going through many hardships as they began their career, they managed to make a name for themselves in the Toronto electronic music scene, playing at many of the top venues, such as One Loft, Parlour, Coda and many more.

Love Is A Lie

Jazz guitarist and electronic musician/producer, a life-time musical expression, from jazz,chill-out,electronica,funk to house,techno,experimental styles. He always inspired by the endless power of the sound and music, when that inspiration meet productivity and technology, it came out a huge creativity which is based on comprehension and expression. A great mix of fiction,reality and emotion in his compositions. On the way to spread his ideas by using sound, even noise. 

Utku Dalmaz started producing electronic music at the age of 21 in 2007. Studied music at Istanbul Bilgi University. Jazz music education and computer programming knowledge helped him to improve his producing skills. In that year he started DJing Istanbul's best clubs. In 2009, his productions already got attention and charted by successful producer/djs, many of his tracks reached top 100 charts on digital music stores such as Beatport, Traxsource. He released his first full-length album "Milky Way" from FHD Records [1] at the end of 2009. He played in clubs and festivals in UK, Amsterdam, Bulgaria, Moldova, Turkey and many more countries with many successful artists. 

After years of producing house and chill out music under a variety of names such as UDM Project and OUTOFME.
