Hoi Squnc! We hereby welcome the first Swiss on board. He created a fantastic EP for us with „Dreams Of Technology“. Therein lies the tremendous work on five tracks, which also makes the release special in that he has only registered two contributions for Pray 4 Rave so far. The talent of the producer is unmistakable. The EP is lived deepness with rich, percussive beats and enraptured soundscapes at the same time. ‘17 years of Mainframe Recordings’ album. The LP features an eye watering 18 tracks, all of which provide a snapshot into how the imprint has evolved over the course of its expansion. Including newcomer artists who Mainframe are currently investing in, as well as those who Mainframe have had play at their raucous club nights, there’s a host of tastes catered for. And with a name like Disaszt at the helm, the album, the label and its events have been in good hands. 
Tracks like Ripple’s ‘Stranger’, Wingz ‘Definite’, and Halflow’s ‘Progressive ID’ set the mood, showing the talent which Mainframe have at their fingertips when it comes to the fresher waters of drum & bass. Then Mainframe frequenters Dubape, Phentix, Alibi and Smooth pull you into their expert riddims throughout its track listing. Breakpitt & Tenchu offers something different throughout the soundscape of ‘Flashfreeze’ whilst Picota & Kumbh’s ‘Contact’ continues the moodier vibes. Tobax’s cutthroat style is prevalent throughout ‘Overback’ and the head honcho Disaszt returns with Dorian for ‘Boom’. Tuff Gee & Carter’s ‘Pimp Ride’, Manta’s ‘Childhood Memories’, Salaryman’s ‘Soul Reminder’, Akov’s ‘Afterlife’ and Counterstrike’s ‘Fearless’ finishes the exclusively new tracks but there’s more to come, with a VIP treatment of TR Tactics and The Clamps ‘Maggot’. 
As an album, it’s a formidable collection of tracks. But when looking at Mainframe’s vast history, they would need such an LP to pay homage to their legacy and ‘17 Years of Mainframe’ certainly delivers. So, sit back and begin your journey through the album, which is sure to bring back memories from the best club nights over recent times.

Then one of Med School’s youngest ever signings with his compilation feature ‘No More’, drum & bass head turner Whiney has stepped up to the plate for his first solo release since officially joining the Hospital Records roster. Reputable for supplying heavy duty sonics, ‘Bubblers Part One’ is a supreme development of the 25-year old’s highly sought signature sound. Home to four fresh cuts marking the start of his trailblazing new three-part ‘Bubblers’ series, Whiney’s latest EP proves he’s got the technique and flair to be a lead player in the scene.

Jungle-infused gritty stepper ‘No Good’ gets things rolling with old-school soundscapes and a captivating R&B style vocal. A fierce ascending bassline accompanied by raw breaks and crisp percussion hits explode into play, setting the track up to be a future classic that continues to carry the foundations of drum & bass into the sounds of today.

Featuring the vocals of mic veteran MC GQ, ‘Guernsey Airport Bubbler’ is straight-talking and deadly. Written in the lounge of Guernsey Airport amidst his busy touring schedule pre-lockdown, this quirky heavy hitter comes close to being a textbook audible representation of a true bubbler.

Minimal sounding and darker in vibe, ‘Black Ice’ offers a copious amount of distorted swells, a throbbing sub line and snappy drums which keep the tune swinging throughout. Icey by name but extremely hot in nature - proceed with caution! ‘November’ rounds off the EP as it draws closer to Whiney’s trip-hop and future bass oriented inspirations. Thumping kick drums, high pitched vocal chops and dreamy synth work are projected into a glistening beacon showcasing the far reaching ability of his skill as a creator.

With an impressive collection of releases under his belt on the recently closed Med School imprint, including ‘Stop The Clock / Breadcrumbs (feat.
