Track Description: 

Raw Motion (Uto Karem) true to its title, is a piece revolving around motion. The progressive transition from a simple beat to adding bass, high hat, rattles, and other sounds gives the impression of not just movement, but changing momentum although the pace remains relatively consistent. This song would be ideal for not just remixing but as the base for a strong mash up. 

Power (Kalden Bess) is true to its title; this powerful song starts off with a throbbing bassline that is run through a synthesizer with a saw. The produced sound is similar to a harmonica, giving the nostalgia of the Blues. As the intro merges into the body of the piece, the intense drum track joins with vocals that serve as instruments. This versatile track will leave a tremendous impact on anyone who listens to it. It would be a perfect anthem for any large festival as well as club. Additionally, this would greatly appeal to filmmakers for action and speculative soundtracks. Videogame companies will be intrigued as well.

Keep (Simone Tavazzi) begins with a low bass drum thats soon joined with a synthesizer and high hat. The track is brought through a remixer and feels very circular as it builds up. A fusion of experimental noises complements a deep, echoing male vocal track. This haunting piece would appeal to a broad spectrum. It would be a great opener for any DJs set, mellow enough to set the mood while the increasing intensity draws the listener in, preparing them for a great night out.

After a very unfavorable review in Billboard ended his career as a mouth harmonica star, he TP'd their headquarters and sent the harmonica down the Potomac river. He returned home where he now has a ranch with 12 Shetland ponies and an albino cow named Sugar. Since country music brings back such sad memories, his music course has shifted completely. Now, Bob is one happy 1605er. And he's the one who knocks!

During the recording, I was sorting the CD collection that we kept in the vocal room. The CD collection was SORTED and we had a tune.

Uto&#8217;s latest outing on his own Agile Recordings kicks off with an ultra-sensual rhythm section before letting the sly bassline set the tone and the quirky percussion intertwine with discordant synths and vocal snippets.&nbsp; On the first rework of &#8220;Reflective&#8221;, we have none other than the mighty Dosem who fattens things up, mangles the original&#8217;s vocal edits and then adds his trademarked melodic chords for a more nostalgic feel. Closing up, Paride Saraceni&#8217;s percussion-led version of the same track boasts commanding stabs, while the rubber-band bass holds everything together in style.

Next release on Tronic is a pack of some exclusive "Secret Weapons" and includes four massive tracks from the label's biggest gunners. First track comes from the mighty Italian duo Macromism, "Backstab" is a groovy beast with banging beats, haunting vocal samples and as the title gives away sick stabs to compliment the solidness of the track. Second track is from the Dutch-man Reinier Zonneveld and is a rolling-bass heavy track, tailor-made for peak time action, on top of that there is this sick melody that adds up to shine off production. Third track of the release comes from Rafa Barrios and Rob Hes, the duo has delivered an afro-like slab, dancy, rhythmic and dirty at the same time and to conclude track four of this release from Drunken Kong is the dark side of the release, hypnotic slab, using a heavy drum work, big boom sub bass and killer chords. All in all a stunning release. Highly recommended.

Harvey McKays tracks have long been staples in the sets of Bedrock boss John Digweed and featured on a host of our Live In compilations. 2013 saw the Scots first full release on the imprint when he teamed up with fellowtechno tormentor Carlo Lio on the excellent F-+k Jack. Twelve months later and he was answering our prayersonce more with the mighty Amen.

After a three year hiatus (we cant believe it either) Harvey is back on Bedrock and looking to infect us with hisvicious musical Virus. Coming at us hard but with all of McKays trademark funk, this three track collection is, inour opinion, one of his finest to date.

Virus leads the EP, instantly getting under the skin with it's menacing synth stabs, vocal calls and quaking kickdrum. Next were riding the rave keys of Psychonaut, lifting us with its positive and powerful drive. Finally wedon the armour and finish full-throttle with Armadillo. No curling up and hiding away here, this is power-houseat its very best with a killer hook and infectious vibe.

Our label boss strikes once again and takes a steep turn towards new pastures with "Who's Right", which is hazily led by a tropical bassline. Lazy snares add to the laidback feel and the show is literally stolen by the sneakiest, dirtiest, funk bass around.

"Insync" tones things down with its subtle melodic touches and classy low end, while ethereal effects are added to an extra-spacious arrangement with tons of room to breathe.

Juan Ddd returns to Agile with his new techno EP &#8216;Kings&#8217;. Juan starts things off with &#8216;Kings&#8217; which is a futuristic blend of techno bleeps. A pulsating melody mixed up perfectly with a gritty driving bassline. &#8216;El Bronx&#8217; has the same techno feeling, a bouncy techno groove joining an array of elusive melodies on the foreground. The melody is then mixed with a heavy bassline that remains distorted while the varied of elements give to this track an epic feel. Closing this EP is &#8216;Queens&#8217;, with solid drums and plenty of haunting samples. This track holds a serious techno groove as it bounces over synths, though a lot of credit goes to the melody, which is contagious. A perfect EP and extreme care from Juan Ddd has been taken with this release. Quality stuff once more for Agile.
