About the mix: "Para este set destaco los sonidos crudos y potentes de bajos y percusiones, acompañados de vocals y sampling; del inicio (80s-90s). También marcado por influencias del disco, acid house,  latin house y tribal. Los soundsystem de los 90s llamados minitecas influyeron en mis inicios en el baile. Incluyo algunos clásicos que me han inspirado siempre, así como productores contemporáneos que mantienen vivos estos preceptos y sonoridades.
En el house aprecio la influencia del sonido latino gracias a la migración, y celebro el baile como reunión, como acto político de afirmación frente a la exclusión social y económica en oposición al conservadurismo, al sistema. Este género ha sido, desde sus orígenes, una referencia pionera de una tecnología democratizada en comunidades alternativas y autogestivas; y rescato la permanencia de esos preceptos en los colectivos actuales queer latinoamericanos. Zombies In Miami is a project created by Cani & Jenouise and despite the name they are not crawling around Miami, but shining out their light from Mexico. The couple became one of the most prominent members of Mexico's vital electronic scene over the last decade. You can call their sound a rhythmic and synth-driven house and techno hybrid.

Introducing to you "U-Topic Guests": a series of mixes from national and international artists, who's art we admired and want to share it to the world.

For the 32th guest, we leave again our homeland and we cross the ocean to Central Europe.

Moskalus was born and currently resides in Ostrava, Czech Republic. He started his musical journey back in 2007 when he created his first YouTube channel where he would upload music from various artists to help them promote their music. With his second channel, he started doing music videos because he wanted to be a part of the scene, not only as a regular uploader, but as someone who wanted to express his own feelings. 

In November 2014, he had his first big break by making the music video for Bambounou's track "Onto This" which was released on 50 Weapons. After that, he gained a greater audience that helped him to work with labels such as: Lobster Theremin, Shall Not Fade, Die Orakel, Pinkman and Lehult. He has also had the opportunity to work with artists such as: Baltra, Fjaak, J. Albert and Benedikt Frey.

After years of listening to music and making videos for such artists, Moskalus has developed a wide-ranging taste. In his DJ sets you can expect to hear anything from disco to house, techno, UK Garage or dubstep from the golden era.

New Delhi DJ and producer Venky continues to rise through the global underground with Show Me 
Love, a hi-NRG 2-track EP and his debut release for HE.SHE.THEY. Records, out the 21st of August. 
Show Me Love follows a string of career-defining moments for Venky. His tribal-infused 2024 
collaboration ‘Leleko’ with Janika Tenn climbed the Beatport charts, while recent track, ‘Keep It 
Strong’ with Parallel Voices increased the heat with its deep, emotive groove. His 2021 cut 
‘Clairevoyance’ on tastemaker imprint Dynamite Disco Club proved a turning point, cementing his 
place in India’s blossoming underground revival. 
Over the past few years, Venky has become one of India’s most trusted selectors, sharing booths with 
Spencer Brown, Because of Art, Just Her, Bebetta and gracing the decks at  venues across Delhi, 
Goa, Bangalore and beyond. His remixes (including 2021’ take on Roger Sanchez’s ‘Lost’) have drawn 
praise from heavyweights including Fatboy Slim, Benny Benassi, Catz 'N Dogz, Tita Lau, and Pretty 
Pink - along with a guest feature on Sanchez’s Release Yourself radio show. 
Rooted in the foundations of house and techno, Show Me Love marks a step into new sonic terrain 
and captures the hi-NRG spirit that has made Venky a standout in India’s electronic scene. Driven by 
crisp percussion, lush synths, and emotive vocal samples, the release reflects Venky’s growing 
reputation for dancefloor heat with depth. With his finely tuned sense of tension, groove and 
euphoric payoff, this is music made to move you - on summer rooftops, or late night city missions. 
Opening and title track ‘Show Me Love’ sees Venky push into harder, experimental territory. Blending 
cinematic strings with hard-edged synths and a stirring vocal hook, the track walks the line between 
tough and tender, showcasing his evolution as both a producer and performer. ‘Live In The Moment’ 
expands the emotional palette. Built on sharp vocal chops and a deep, bouncing low-end, it’s a track 
designed for connection - between friends, strangers, dancers. The EP also includes club-ready edits 
of both tracks.

“This EP is a real departure from my usual style. I was experimenting with new sounds, trying to 
recreate something I’d heard online, but it ended up evolving into something totally different. Each 
track has its own unique vibe for different moments on the dancefloor,  ‘Show Me Love’ brings fun, 
dreamy summer energy, while ‘Live In The Moment’ is dirtier, groovier, and built for peak time. 
They’re not your typical ‘Venky’ tracks at first listen, but they still carry the funky drums, catchy 
vocals, and sweet melodies I always try to include.” 
A regular presence at India’s underground clubs and festivals, Venky brings a sound that’s both 
classic and cutting-edge, rooted in house and techno but driven by global influences and local heart. 
With releases on 303lovers, Stealth Records, Simma Black already under his belt, and now 
HE.SHE.THEY., Show Me Love is Venky entering a pivotal new chapter, one that bridges the energy of 
India’s underground with the momentum of the international scene.

Moody McIvor is a Darkwave/Synthwave act fronted by Christopher McIvor from the Gold Coast, Australia, with production support from Felipe Bortoloti (Nørus), originally from Brazil and now based in Portugal.

Formed in 2021, the project blends ethereal soundscapes with pulsating rhythms, weaving together electronic textures and organic depth for a sound that is both intimate and expansive.

The debut release on McIvor’s new sublabel Ronnie’s Records, Shadow Frequencies, is a deeply personal body of work developed over four years and dedicated to the memory of close friend Benaiah Fiu.
