„Str8 Vinyl“ ist eine von mir ins Leben gerufene, wiederkehrende, Vinyl Roots/Digital/Reggae Mixtape-Serie für Jedermann.
Es geht hier also explizit nicht darum ein typisches Soundsystem Mixtape zu präsentieren, sondern …

Idee ist es, dass in regelmäßigen (je nach Interesse und leute die mitmachen) Abständen Seletas/Selectress Ihre Vinylschätze aus den oben genannten Musikrichtungen, aus dem Schrank kramen und ein ca. 30 Minütiges Mixtape zusammenstellen. Das so gemischte Tape wird dann jedes mal auf dieser Facebookseite präsentiert. Zusätzlich wird jedes mal eine ca.1 minütige Ansprache auf dem Mixtape von mir eingesprochen in der ich auf den Selecta, von dem gerade das Mixtape stammt, eingehe und ein wenig von diesem erzähle. (Also bitte immer eine ca. 2 Minütige Version als Intro mit einbauen.)

„Str8 Vinyl“ soll also im Prinzip nur eine Plattform für alle Vinyl-Liebhaber sein, die Ihre Platten viel zu wenig Live auflegen, weil die Digitalen-Medien sie inzwischen auch gepackt haben. Oftmals bekommt man ja gar nicht mehr die Chance die Platten zu spielen, weil es in den Clubs keine Teller mehr gibt. 

Also hier habt ihr die Chance eure Platten mit den Leuten zu teilen!


Soweit eine kleine Erklärung. Fragen etc. können gerne hier in der Gruppe gestellt und besprochen werden. 
Anmeldung für einen Mix schickt ihr bitte direkt an mich (Lutz Phonic RockinVibez). Ich werde mich dann mit euch in Verbindung setzen und euch den Termin nennen, wann ich den Mix uploaden wollen würde.

Angepeilt ist eine monatlich wiederkehrende Ausgabe von „Str8 Vinyl“ von wechselnden Selectas/Selectress. Sollte die Resonanz doch sehr groß sein, kann man auch über schneller wiederkehrende Dates verhandeln

Anyone can take part and can do his own issue of “Str8Vinyl”… requirement: u have enough Roots/Digital/Reggae Vinyl inna your Boxes.

SKANKIN'SUN ist eine Dortmunder Alternative-Reggae Band. 
Sie steht für die Energiequelle, die jeden von uns tagtäglich begleitet. Ob in schweren oder schwerelosen Zeiten, SKANKIN'SUN soll euch tragen, fesseln, animieren, überzeugen und berühren.

Als damals zwei Jungs aus dem Ruhrgebiet die Pegel ihres Kassettenrecorders mit ihren Beats und Raps zum Anschlag brachten, entstand im Kleinen schon was ganz Grosses. Der HipHop war in Deutschland gerade in der Pubertät, da verstanden es Jon&Voss, deutschen Rap mit elektronischem Reggae zu verschmelzen, und den Anarcho-Soundtrack für den Ruhrpott-Untergrund zu schaffen. Und schon damals schrie dieser Melting-Pott irgendwo zwischen Bob Marley, Seeed und Rio Reiser nach einer Live-Performance: Endlich seit 2013 holt die frisch formierte Jon&Voss-Band die alten Beats aus den Tiefen der Sample-Player hoch und bringt den alten Sound zu seinem logischen Höhepunkt: Reggae/Ragga-Anarcho-HipHop, elektro-live!

ROOTS PLAGUE SOUNDSYSTEM – The fully equipped high Power high Grade Roots&Dub Soundsystem based in Muenster, Germany, founded in 2006 by Natty Nils, Bredda B, Jan Bow and Locke.
Early Sessions were run inna Reggae & Dancehall Style, while Dub&Steppas became more and more important. Since 2008 they bring strictly Roots Reggae, Rockers, Dub and Steppas Selections.
Today this custom built Soundsystem contains twenty 15inch speakers and a high-end mid- to high-tone section.
ROOTS PLAGUE run the nicest outdoor sessions and set up heavy indoor-events. They have created party-projects like 15inch-corner, Soundsystem convention, Musical Kingdom, Basstelstunde and the mighty Big Rig Festival.
In 2008 the ROOTS PLAGUE crew founded the legendary Dub Camp Area at Reggae Jam, Germany’s no.1 voted Reggae Festival. The Dub Camp has been there since and will be there evermore. In this special time and place they invite friends from other Soundsystems and Bands to play over the “Red Wall” and enjoy four days of Reggae, Dub and Niceness!

Each Sesssion is unique! Spiced with hot Dubplates, Specials, Customs and unreleased tunes.
