Born and raised in Providence, R.I., living on all sides of the city, from the west Hartford Project to Pleasant st. on the east side,Charles st. on the north end to Washington Park capping off the southern tip of the city.V.I. began an interest in music at the age of 8 after rhyming a few words together wit some cousins in what he refers to as "elementary flows". This went on till about 8th grade were at school he was introduced to break dancing. The dancing would go on to become a teaching class and performances from Boston, MA to Washington D.C. After a few run-ins with the law, V.I. was forced to move to Philadelphia, P.A. This is where he got back into the rap aspect of music and realized he had such a gift for it. After resorting to what most young minority men are force with for survival, V.I. was arrested ones more. Upon release V.I. was back on his way, returning to Providence, R.I. with a hunger for music.With a sound styled around versatility, V.I. is comfortable on any track. To place V.I.'s music in one genre would be placing him in a box. With an imagination like his, he likes to clam his self to be a Hip-Hop, Rap, Experimental,Pop-Star, all around ENTERTAINER. "My style changes as i progress in life". From writing, recording, mixing, and sometimes producing his own music, he has also evolved his skills for graphically designing and editing his own materials.V.I.'s current goal is to bring success to himself, family, friends, and those who have helped to strengthen his career as an entertainer.

Kyng Cyrvs delivers street anthems with a continuous free flow over soulful grooves and hard hitting beats. He strives to reach a struggling ambitious audience, who are trying to live their dreams. He uses witty metaphors and word-play to give life to the past, present and future as he sees it, speaking about the pain, oppression and incarceration while he serves as a voice from the backstreets. Although his lyrics are revolutionary in tone, they are simply a depiction of the world and how he see’s it. Demonstrating his diversity, he can go hard on a club banger, and also show his lighter less serious side, then he can flip it to smoothly immerse you in a world where he gets sensual and erotic.  He also has a fashion element that is undeniable and even designs alot of his clothes himself!  Kyng Cyrvs represents the new wave of todays contemporary diverse artist.  He is also possessed with an unexplainable entrepreneurial spirit that led him to start his own production company AV8A.  He envisions AV8A as an idea of no limits.  He is constantly on a mission to break the conception that artist should only entertain.  Kyng believes it is urgent that todays artist should innovate and evolve society.
