During the winter months, he decided to revisit the project with a fresh approach. Having already demonstrated his talents in trance with Thorium-238, as well as his multiple techno exploits on our sister label Coldharbour Black; his palette widens with a special progressive interpretation.

Already receiving plaudits from Markus Schulz with multiple Global DJ Broadcast supports, the Progressive Mix of Thorium-238 brings a refreshing take on an already appraised original.

A showcase of fresh talent from the global electronic scene, Anjunadeep’s Explorations EP series returns for its eighteenth instalment, featuring VONDA7, Tagavaka, Denney, Cornelius SA & Sebee, SQL, Nacho Varela and Cruz Vittor.

Kicking off the compilation is Polish producer VONDA7 with ‘You’re My Swiss Watch’. Having garnered support from the likes of Sasha, Anja Schneider, Camelphat and Laurent Garnier, this new production is a confident fusion of uplifting vocals and bouncing basslines.

Following the release of ‘State Lines’ on recent label compilation Anjunadeep 12, Glasgow-based producer Tagavaka returns with ‘Sky’, showcasing his textured sound design that has earned him support from Adam Port, Lane 8 and Nora En Pure.

Next up, British DJ and producer Denney marks his Anjunadeep debut with ‘Kamikaze’. With releases on Hot Creations, Knee Deep In Sound and Rebellion, Denney delivers a hard-hitting deep house track. 

South African producers Cornelius SA and Sebee bring their melodic track ‘Silhouette’ to the EP, reaffirming why they’ve respectively been supported by Eelke Kleijn, Nick Warren and fellow countryman Black Coffee.

A skilful blend of evolving synths and intertwining melodies, Dutch producer SQL delivers ‘Lagom’ - a track first heard on James Grant's mix for Anjunadeep Edition #345. 

Closing the EP is the collaborative cut ‘Kush’ from Argentinian producers Nacho Varela & Cruz Vittor. Characterised by syncopated basslines and percussive-laden grooves, the duo demonstrate their long-standing chemistry as producers that have seen them release on labels including All Day I Dream and Shanti Radio Moscow.

Denney - Kamikaze

The influential Ukrainian duo ARTBAT has been enlisted to bring their unique melodic sounds to a new remix of Röyksopp's 2005 smash ‘What Else Is There?’ The iconic original has been streamed 10s of millions of times and ARTBAT are contemporary electronic tastemakers with a global fanbase, so this is a perfect pairing of two musical giants.

As well as collaborations with Sailor & I, CamelPhat, Dino Lenny, WhoMadeWho, Matador and Rafael Cerato, the pair's solo work is always both accessible and melodic yet forward-facing and innovative.

Retaining the iconic vocals of Fever Ray and The Knife frontwoman Karin Dreijer, ARTBAT’s fantastic new remix of 'What Else Is There?' transforms the classic Nordic chug of Röyksopp’s original into the type of high drama big room house music they’re renowned for.

Pete Tong has confirmed a BBC Radio 1 play on the day of release and this essential new track will feature on a new playlist curated by the band highlighting their biggest remixes.

This is another huge release for ARTBAT, who continue to redefine their own unique sound with each fantastic new outing.
