Pollen. Sounds presents: PLNS001: Gloom 1.0, a 5 track EP by Max Cue. 
Though still relying heavily on the style we came to know from Max Cue, Gloom also borrows from classical influences to create contemplative and sorrowful intro's and bridges that lead to nervous, anxious and repetitive sequencer driven parts. 
Gloom feels reminiscent of falling into despair, of entering dark, murky and overgrown territory. Gloom is still easily recognized as Max Cue, though it also manages to sidetrack its listeners. A gloomy welcome to what might be a harbinger for more.

With 'Storm' we welcome ANMA & Aves Volare to ICONYC featuring a couple of fantastic remixes courtesy of Sean & Dee and Eric Rose who bring us their take on the duo's new single. ANMA & Aves Volare have developed a universally loved unique style; a dynamic, groovy, deep and hypnotic fusion of genres that perfectly fits in any kind of club or open-air festival. The duo's releases have always received high acclaim - with support across the board from the who is who is in the world of electronic music.

ANMA & Aves Volare know a thing or two when it comes to mind blowing productions, as they deliver an irresistible track that kicks things off nicely with the melancholic vibes setting the tone. They roam effortlessly through progressive inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top of the driving percussive foundation. The duo takes it up a notch by introducing Aves Volare's vocal work, whilst upping the flow with cleverly programmed drumming and his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the main groove. Their work deserves to be branded 'essential' in any sense of the word.

On remix duty we welcome back label all-stars Sean & Dee after their hugely successful recent releases. Sean & Dee who are known for their driving and refined sound, keep the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general drive all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear yet sounding totally fresh - This massive touch up takes the energy quantities up a level and increases the drive with stripped back and lucid elements, before the energetic groove creates a blanket of warmth that will put a smile on your face.

The second remix comes courtesy of Eric Rose, who brings a more uplifting edge to 'Storm'. His rework creates a good feel vibe from the word go, as the atmospheric and driving vibe keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces that keeps building to culminate into a lovely melodic groover. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a stunning glow. 

With the talent on offer, ANMA & Aves Volare's 'Storm' manages to deliver a message of sustained musical relevance in emphatic fashion to warm the soul. Not to be missed!

Uxoa Dutxa Elite warmly welcomes the producer Maetim who makes his debut with an impressive EP of a couple of Ethereal Techno tracks called Komitis.

"Komitis" is a track with a very striking vibe with a progressive bassline and a sequence in the background that blends perfectly while percussive elements appear suddenly until the break arrives with an astral atmosphere taking you to the cosmos with voices emitted in frequencies from hyperspace.

"Asteroeidis" begins with a catchy bassline between dreamy atmospheres and sound elements that position you in the universe, thus initiating the first kick that is perfectly combined with the elements of drums and snare, then a slightly arpeggiated ethereal melody emerges unfolding cleanly and with a lot of feeling for most of the track.

MELODIC TALES - Episode 25 by Di Rugerio

Uxoa Dutxa Elite welcomes Argentine producer Axel Zambrano who makes his debut with Terra Ep which includes two incredible original tracks from Melodic Techno.

"Terra" is a track with a serious indole with a progressive bassline and rhythmic percussions that follow up in a well-defined way, starting the dance with an arpeggiated sequence that is gradually built up while new leads emerge making a good accompaniment with dreamy atmospheres. and creative in the background mixing the elements of Techno and Progressive to perfection.

"Saphirus" begins in a more energetic way with a simple kick and a repetitive but very suggestive synth sequence until a rhythmic bass line appears to create a very catchy and danceable rhythm while new ethereal melodies are emerging in an abstract way giving it a feeling of mystery and darkness to the track with a very well executed vocoder synthesizer.

S3RHUM is a DJ and Producer on the Parisian scene, passionate about techno of all kinds, he oscillates between Indie Dance, Afro House, and Melodic Techno but it is in the Ethereal and dark style that he asserts himself the most. True digger, he is always on the lookout for some serious percussive banger to play in his sets. S3RHUM is A&R for newborn TM&Y Records whose track “Perseverance” is on the “CONNECT” VA Compilation. He has also recently signed an EP with his friend Amirali Shakoori on  the Mexican label Arkhamra "Helladise".

S3RHUM is also a party organizer with the Parisian collective Techno Me And You, he has notably performed alongside renowned artists such as SOEL, Coeus, VNTM, Innellea & Bog.
