Yip Wong aka Deft has become an immediately recognisable producer that skilfully hops from headphone to dance styles through cinematic sound design, driving intricate percussion and immersive atmospheres.

Over the last nine years of releasing music, Deft has built an established reputation of his own signature sonic personality, drawing influence from hip hop, sound design, house, 140, jungle and footwork; a combination which makes him impressively adept at shaking off the constraints of genre and tempo. This has, in turn, gained him the support of BBC Radio 1 & 6 DJ’s such as Gilles Peterson and Mary Anne Hobbs, as well as veterans DJ Shadow, The Glitch Mob and Trevor Jackson amongst many others.

2019 brought a new chapter to Deft’s career with the release of his first LP, ‘Cracks’ on 20/20 LDN; a release that encompasses the best of his past experiences, technical capabilities and his distinctive emotively driven music to date. ‘Cracks’ came at #27 in DJ Mag’s ’Top 50 Albums of 2019’.

“Last year I released my debut album 'Cracks'; It's the most personal work I've written to date and a project that I was very emotionally invested in for three years. Once it was released, I was left not really knowing where to take things, but slowly found some fun in writing with rap beat formats and palettes; 8 on, 8 off, stripped back, low swung beats. I'm having a lot of fun writing in this area at the moment, and enjoying the process - hopefully more of this to come.”

Amane OG's blasting "Computer Life" is the newest entry to the storied Polish Juke catalogue while simultaneously marking the artist's debut on the crew. This four-track release opens 2021 up with a bang showcasing the producer's raw and unique take on the classic Chicago footwork format. Though it's quite varied in styles, the album firmly sticks to the cold, percussion-driven, synthesized aesthetic throughout its runtime - from the opening late 90s/early 00s gaming nostalgia of "Defrag", through the stomping, bass-heavy r&b chops of "Chłopaki w Footwork grają" and the undeniable funk of "Don't Stop Da Bangs", all the way to the ghoulish harmonies of the closer - "You're Someone".

Uzee The Bovvaking was born in Zaria, Kaduna Nigeria, and was introduced to Hip-Hop at nine years old by his elder brothers. He was immediately drawn to the pride, culture, and self-expression the genre provided and found it to be like no other art form. His first project, The Large Rock Project, released digitally in 2014 features him rapping over instrumentals from renowned Hip-Hop producers Pete Rock and Large Professor.
Uzee The Bovvaking has an impressive discography and has been featured in numerous publications. His music has been praised for its originality, lyrical content, and production. He is an artist on the rise and continues to work hard to perfect his craft. He is also the second half of the rapper/producer duo Jazz and Vodka with French Producer Grolok.
