V-Jay Heights is a Minneapolis hip hop group consisting of two MCs, Trey Shotz and Loki, a group tailor made to push the envelope, where there are no sacred cows, no taboo subject matter, and no flinching in the face of daring creativity. Trey Shotz hails from the vast metropolis of the Twin Cities, while Loki refuses to divulge his place of origin, leading outsiders to speculate he is simply an alien or hologram. A shared love of Bad Brains and Public Enemy records, as well as a desire to create a tasty ice cream made of vodka and pine cones, led to their formation. Their divergent backgrounds and varied musical tastes influence their sonic pursuits. From the literate to the ludicrous, V-Jay Heights creates music designed to make you move and get the hell up off the couch. V-Jay Heights will be releasing their debut album Spring 2014.
