Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Virgil Weddington, Jr. better known as V.Wade  is a new and upcoming rap artist. The Memphian grew up listening to mostly Rap and R&B (Rhythm & Blues). In V.Wade's earlier years, he was heavily influenced by Yo Gotti, Three Six Mafia, 8 Ball & MJG, Twista, and Ludacris which explains his witty personality and the high level of energy that he gives when performing as well as what can be heard on his  records.  V. Wade’s powerful delivery, southern flow, unique word play only illuminates his abilities.
 
 V.Wade studied at Castleton University and graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. There, he absorbed new styles of music and really began carving the path of he wants to be as an artist. Even though V.Wade is an extremely new artist, his work can be found on Soundcloud and Youtube.
 
The highlight of his young career is when he was given an opportunity to open up for rap mogul Lil Wayne's' artist Corey Gunz in Burlington, Vermont a year ago. Since then, V.Wade has been moving full speed ahead, working to release his first upcoming mixtape "A Person Who Raps..."
 
What makes V.Wade such an intriguing young artist is his work ethic and ability to connect and control the crowd. V.Wade's talent is undeniable and the ceiling exceeds the Burj Khalifa building in Dubia.  Once V.Wade truly comes into himself as an artist; There is no doubt he will be a superstar.
