Blossom is the debut single for duo Lake Malice.
Having recently collaborated with producer Bruce Rintoul (Vukovi, Twin Atlantic, Fatherson) Lake Malice have created an aggressive, vulnerable and experimental take on modern metalcore, inspired by bands such as Spiritbox, Vukovi and Grimes.

Blossom’s lyrics refer to the challenges most bands and music projects deal with in their creative and inter-personal spaces. The song comes from a mix of rage, but also relief in breaking free

“The original ‘TWINFLAMES’ was inspired by my experience finally finding my ‘bonus’ person in life and by that I mean, meeting that someone that just elevates your life to the next level. In a world where toxic relationships are put on a pedestal, it's a song about harmonious balance and partnership with somebody once you've reached a level of peace individually that has you both "choosing" each other rather than filling a void. It's unsurprising that the remix was born out of partnership itself at the right time. I had been hoping to work with a DJ and create remixes of my newest releases just as Aqcora reached out on social media from a small town in England. He was a fan of my music and felt inspired to create with my tracks if I was open to it. We found out we were the same zodiac sign and that I also share a birthday with his child---alignment at it's finest. We hit it off and this is the first of many remixes he's been working on.”
