Back in the 1970s I realized I loved the new electronic music that was appearing and spent most of the next couple of decades learning how to use clubs and parties as a tool to help share that passion with others.  I still love music but play mostly for my own ear now. Yet some things are too wonderful not to share...

Formed in San Diego, California, PRGRM is an electronic post-rock band with a diverse and eclectic approach formed in 2012.

Created at the “Warhol Loft”, the idea behind the new experiment was to crate straight-forward electronic melodies and percussions over a backdrop of live instruments. Nothing serious; no goal in mind other than just trying to make music with an experimental edge, refusing to get stuck in a box in terms of creativity.

Huddling in the bathroom late at night, a PRGRM emerged among the members of the project. A wall of sound was erected, keyboards destroyed and shows played as the band gained traction with influences ranging from Karen O to Nine Inch Nails, effectively stamping the band into the local circuit. Overtime, the band, set out to refine their project into a productive and exciting output for the PRGRM brand.

It’s all about making music and seeking art as a way to explore, communicate and express regardless of genre definition and other limitations.
