Lofar continues to celebrate its Deutschland connection with the first 'Get Perlonized' event on Dutch soil.

The Berlin-based label Perlon's unique approach to promoting and producing music has has taken

their catalogue beyond the 50th release mark; sampling, dissecting sounds, never losing focus on that

perfect dance floor 'hook',  and featuring the following rather infamous and talented artists:

Ricardo Villalobos, Mathew Jonson, Luciano, Baby Ford & Benjamin Wild [amongst others].

 

On the 11th of November at club NL, legendary Perlon label founder/producer Zip [aka Dimbiman] will most 

certainly rock & entertain, followed up by a slice of live stripped-down-ultra-deep-house by Melchior Production Ltd;

expect sounds and purification towards the essence of soul!

This is a live recording from Jigit (Resolute) in NYC, the infamous long party at h0l0. It was the first time this live was performed and it keeps getting better and better, as they do, through each performance, a never ending quest for perfection even though that perfection are the imperfections, the spontaneous improvisations along the way.

Highly regarded as a versatile and talented artist , not only in his home country Chile but the world out. A career spanning 20+ years, his ties to some of the most integral and quality musicians and industry wide individuals easily exposes which side he is on. 

Felipe comes from a pool of artists from a generation that for sure “interacts” with the current one through ways of working, relationships and beyond, but there is one thing they have as s core, a base to it all: their values. Some of these are integrity, care, sharing, educating, learning, being humble, always and forever prioritising music above all things and against all odds. 

With an infinite discography and extensive musical background that spans decades, the head behind labels such as Melcure, HC and Cure music defines his career as a protracted palette of colours. From classical to rock and from indie to new wave, Felipe has dedicated most of his life to developing his perspective on all musical trends, and the last 20 years, focused on exploring electronic sounds and all its sub-genres.

As an inveterate music lover and collector, it is clear to define him as a broad dj with a diverse vision, one that defies any narrowed musical genre specification, it is very wide, that combined with a very personal musical identity, absorbing from each style while generating what we call “the stamp”, the bit that defines one as “an artist”, their unique points. 

Known by his peers as a "full on music maker", there is no doubt about the countless tracks that are part of his sessions nowadays, so much so that in 2024 he launched a brand new live at H0l0 in NYC for a Jigit event. This live recording can be found HERE, it was released on the toi toi mix series, a collective he is very much attached to musically and ideologically. Some of his recent releases have been so sought after that copies were running out of the shelves at shops in no time. 

Many labels and Alter egos define this audio engineer as a complete and open minded producer.

Among his collaborations we can find him as: FAER, AHORA, Acapulco heat, Calcio Club, Bichos raros, Dorian Paic among many others, in addition to his multiple solo projects.

For our 31st appointment, we have invited Brouqade head Dana Ruh, for an exclusive 75mins of powerful music, recorded live at Club der Visionaere during her latest label showcase.

Based in Berlin, Dana use to tour around the globe as a Cocoon resident. She also performs for several international promoters and, few times per year, she run label showcases, mainly in the German capital and in Ibiza. 

Her amazing experience, combined with her instinct in discovering talents to onboard on her label and her refined selection, makes Dana the perfect multi-tasking artist, reason why we are super pleased to have her with us.

Sammy channels of joyous energy whirl around the speakers throughout the 2 hours recording captured at Salon Zur Wilden Renate in Berlin. His approach brings to the table gradual development to a groove-driven set that showcases playful, expressive strains of minimal, chugging 4/4 beats and some funky electro-tinged minimal tech house, all flawlessly mixed as he’s accustomed us.
