The Market Stage is renowned for madness, melodies, mistaken identities and mezmorising people! 

It was my pleasure to transition the fast paced full-on psychedelic beats of RAPTOR (6:30am) with the sexy & lush, bush techno soundscapes of SIMON MURPHY (9:30am). Exploring every possible direction, taking the listener on a rollercoaster through the dark, the twisted, the chunky and into the light as the sun shun down over the morning. 

Showcasing the broad spectrum of sounds that the Zenon label provides, accompanied by some of my favourites from a large array of labels. On the day, navigating from 145bpm right down to 133pm for a seamless transition.

I thank all of you that braved the icing morning to stomp the beats into the dirt as they fell from the speakers. Chasing, jumping and grabbing those dirty beats before they escaped.

Truly a magical morning, surrounded by beautiful people and joined by my fellow DJ compadre's. A time I will never forget. Thank you Rainbow Serpent :)

First Psy-Bass tune is up on my soundcloud now. 
Here is a slow dark slonker, retrieved from the depths of a mercurial swamp. Where slugs undulate through the mud, their metallic skin glistens with the sparkle of the moon light. You try and move away but you're knee deep in this silvery sludge. Insects swarm around your head, in a dizzying cloud. As you try and escape the slugs slither over your body, it feels good, their cold metallic skin against yours.  Just as you start to panic, it's over, and in a way you wish they would return.

Vaeya (Vaibhav Bhavsar) is a music producer and DJ currently based in Bangalore, India specializing in progressive trance music. His live sets can venture down one of two journeys; a dark, intelligent techy sound more suited to night-time or, a lush quirky progressive sound ideal for daytime or afternoon sets. He has released tracks on labels such as Zenon, Records, Fatali Music, Glitchy.Tonic.Records, Rebeat, Twisted Frequency Recordings, Ovnimoon Records, Carmi Recordings, Occulta
Records, Maia Brasil Records, Jellyfish Frequency Recordings, Technophobia Records 

Vaibhav moved to Australia in 2003. The diversity of the people and music at parties and festivals he attended, alongside the extreme vastness and untouched beauty of the country, became a huge influence on his subsequent music production and DJ sets, being amongst a scene where artists like Sensient, Suncontrolspecies, Tetrameth, Shadow FX played on a regular
basis – this was a massive inspiration for him and Progressive music became his main weapon of choice out of which the Zenon sound appealed to him the most

In 2009, Vaeya released his first solo album on Bandcamp titled “Passion Before Priorities” and then later got on board with Germany’s Glitchy.Tonic.Records as an Artist and DJ to promote his explorations with dark, techy sounds and also to promote the other brilliant artists on the label,
2010 saw releases on Glitchy.Tonic.Records and Fatali Music including his second full length album “Bipolar”, an EP and tracks for various compilations. On returning to India in 2010, Vaeya joined forces with Indian based progressive trance label Occulta Records.

2014 is when things came full circle as he was signed as the official DJ for Zenon Records in India. Having played Live/DJ sets at various festivals and parties in Australia, India, Nepal, Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Portugal, United States and New Zealand.
