The anniversary compilation is showcasting the unique experience which was collected through the 20 years long journey of Insomnia Records. DJs Becar & Sunshine tried to combine together the artits who have been with us for many years along the way with authentic russian darkpsy and forest tracks, supporting the local scene in Russia, which was a big point for the label since the first released compilation. 

Important to mention that the compilation is not about the oldschool sound, all of the tracks here are brand new cutting edge products for the night time dancefloor to fill it with a special psychedelic energy. 

We highly appreciate all the effort done by the artists, designers, mastering engineers and other participating persons and would like to say a big THANK YOU to all ever invloved. More 20 years in space to come!

Hey everyone, I am super stoked to unveil yet another new musical piece, a very special one called : "Folkloria". 👁

It's a tale that is close to my heart, which I crafted with the intention of representing my country's traditions and folklore, hence its name "Folkloria". The whole track is filled with extracts from Gnawa instruments and singing parts, which I scattered throughout three different parts, each with their own progressive intensity. 🪘 It's a personal tribute to the Moroccan tribesmen and women, and their still ongoing magical rituals. 🇲🇦🪱

I want to thank Omsun from Moon Koradji for spontaneously calling me to participate on this project and expand on my musical journey on such an amazing label. 🇺🇦

Vahati is the psytrance project of JC Kerinec, a French music producer based in Morocco.
After many years of experimenting sound in the Psychedelic space and design, his Vahati project saw the day of light in 2016. His sound his heavily influenced by the rythms of the scandinavian style of psychedelic music.
Today, the Vahati project is constantly evolving and aims to showcase a new sound experience for you to dive in. His sound is caracterized by an intelligent play between subtle and powerful energies of the forest, riding the flow between punchy layers and deep enchanting atmospheres.
