Entering the darker galaxies of sound, KOSMOS for sure is one of my favorite labels and to play alongside artists who guided me into this world was a trueeee honor! Huge thanks to @kosmos_records for the invitation and to everyone on the dancefloor for creating such an incredible energy. 

And yesss I was super nervous, especially at the beginning. So at around 09:15 you can hear me struggling to figure out what’s wrong - only to realize right after the drop that the high-pass filter was doing its magic. Let’s call it a special effect this time haha 🪄

Pascal Rudert gehört zu jener jungen Generation DJs, die genau zuhören. Er erwählt für
seine Sets das für sich Beste aus dem musikalischen Gestern, Heute und Morgen. Musik
bewegt ihn, wenn sie etwas Besonderes aussagt. Das kann über Melodien und Vocals
passieren, über eine kräftige Bassline, über das Arrangement des Liedes, oft alles
zusammen. Pascal lässt sich dabei nur ungern in ein bestimmtes Genrekostüm pressen, weil zwischen House und Techno so viele faszinierende Produktionen passieren, dass ein weiter Blick auf Musik am meisten Sinn ergibt. Seine Sets werden darüber zu beweglichen, leichten, schlüssigen Tondichtungen, zu einem Befreiungsschlag für das Herz und die Füße.

Mit vierzehn Jahren zog es Pascal hinter die Plattenspieler. Vinyl zu mixen ist seither
genauso Teil seines technischen und gefühlsmäßigen Selbstverständnisses, wie digitale
Tracks ein Muss sind, wenn sie in die Geschichte gehören. Als Resident im Club Zooma und Mitbegründer von Insel der Visionen mit Wahlheimat Dresden hat er sowohl einen Heimathafen gefunden, als auch eine Crew, mit der er sich im Draußen präsentiert. In der
schnellen Welt des Beliebigen hält er dabei kurz an und schafft mit sich und der Musik die er spielt etwas Magisches: weniger aufgesetzter Lifestyle, mehr Handwerk – weniger
sinnentleerte Performance, mehr Konzentration. Und das überträgt er auf den Tänzerkreis,
der ihm zuhört.

I’d heard so much about this place and finally had the chance to visit—and even play my music here.

It was a long journey for me to get to Berlin, but now I understand why people keep talking about it. It reminds me of the underground events in Koh Phangan. 

There aren't many places in the world where you can experience this kind of party. 

For me, it’s a breath of fresh air—a real answer to all the commercial stuff happening around us.

Die gebürtige Berlinerin Isi, alias Katzengold, legt bei ihren Sets besonderen Wert auf Storytelling, mit besonders viel Gefühl und Emotionen. Das Zusammenspiel aus träumerischen Melodien und treibendem Sound lädt zum gemeinschaftlichen Davonschweben ein, ganz unbeschwert vom Kopf übers Herz direkt in die Füße.
Deshalb beschreibt sie ihren Stil auch gerne als „Dreamer Techno“. Seit Anfang 2021 ist sie Teil des Labels 3000Grad und hat im selben Jahr zusammen mit Gleichgesinnten das Flinta Kollektiv FEMQUENCY gegründet, um sich für mehr Gleichberechtigung und gegenseitigen Support starkzumachen. Zudem ist sie Resident-DJ im legendären Club Ritter Butzke.

The moment two forces join and become something greater than themselves - this is probably what happened when Rosalie & Vera, the two artists of Mehr is Mehr, started to play music together.🌌🌠 

At least that's what we've felt seeing and feeling them behind the decks - a huge energy bundle, creating powerful, forward-driving techno landscapes, always with their well-known, never ceasing mischievous smile.⚡😈💖⚡

Years ago they've already played their first gig for Love Foundation and we are super happy to have being able to be somewhat like a companion on their way as beautiful humans, artists and producers. 🤗

𝑳𝑭: How has your understanding of love evolved over the years?

𝑴𝒆𝒉𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝑴𝒆𝒉𝒓: Our understanding of love has grown a lot in recent years through our process together. we have experienced how multi-layered love can be and that deep connection can exist detached from a romantic relationship. Love becomes even more beautiful when people know each other well and a very warm calm can develop in relationships.

𝑳𝑭: How do you express love through your music?

𝑴𝒆𝒉𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝑴𝒆𝒉𝒓: Of course we express our inner selves through our music - that's probably the case with most artists. It's important to us to fill floors with love regardless of the music. Spaces where people can focus on what they have in common, treat each other with respect and feel the life within them.
