We’ve been at this since the very early ‘00s—from progressive trance to minimal techno, whatever keeps us moving. Formats changed, but the obsession stayed the same. The boy once thought about making it his life, but life had other plans. Now, his most dedicated audience is a lineup of Lego figurines. The girl? She’s always been about the music and movement. Reserved, but never on the sidelines.

If the right night brings us together, dance. No expectations, no promises—just music, the way it’s meant to be felt.

Cantautore e chitarrista. Ho iniziato a suonare la chitarra all'età di 14 anni, cominciando molto presto a scrivere le mie canzoni, cercando di miscelare le mie influenze ed esperienze musicali. 
Nel 2010 pubblico un EP con una band chiamata ECATE, progetto prevalentemente alternative rock, ma nel 2014 decido di orientarmi verso il cantautorato autoproducendo un EP di 5 brani.

The culmination of two years of writing, giging and recording, Manflu’s debut album ‘Joys of Life’ is a raucous, razor sharp, and visceral document of a band at the peak of its powers.
 
Manflu are a London art-punk quintet who have a truly transglobal heritage; members come from Kazakhstan, Japan, France, Brooklyn and London. Their influences include Can, Siouxsie and The Banshees and Devo and comparisons have been made with Xmal Deutschland, Sonic Youth and Captain Beefheart.
 
Aza (vocals) is also visual artist who has exhibited at 55th Venice Biennale and is a cover star of The New British. Dudu (bass), Will (drums) and Pip (guitar) played feedback-drenched versions of Donna Summer classics in the notorious Disko Boy. Saki (keys), a classically trained pianist and synthesizer enthusiast, completes the line up.
 
A confrontational and unique live proposition, Manflu have played a series of residencies at various venues and warehouse raves around East London and have earned support slots with post-punk heroine Lydia Lunch and Mike Watt of DIY punk forefathers Minutemen.
 
Manflu’s ‘Joys of Life’ will be given a full release by Tri-Tone though PIASUK early in 2014, when it will be backed with a full UK tour with European dates planned soon after.
