After getting hold of his mums record player as a kid Alan started to buy vinyl in the late 80's and got his first set of belt driven turntables at 15 and started learning to mix House music and early Rave and Hardcore records. Fast forward a few years and a set of Technics 1200 decks Alan was playing Techno at free parties around Essex, Cambridgeshire and London and was quickly a regular on the London club circuit playing alongside Techno legends Ben Sims, Colin Dale, Mark Williams, DJ Bone, Mark Broom, Inigo Kennedy, Terry Mitchell & many more. 

In the late 90's Alan had a regular slot on one of the first internet radio stations "Interface" which in turn led to him founding his own London based "Frequency Radio" which was an outlet for all things underground and electronic focusing heavy on Electro music. In 2006 Alan moved to Vietnam and Cambodia throwing parties and dropping beats in Nha Trang, Phnom Penh & Saigon under his Soul Jazz Funksters Alias and his own name for all things electronic. Heavy influences from Detroit Techno define his sound and a DJ that is happy warming up the floor or keeping the groove flowing with that all important Soul & Funk ingrained in the beats. Currently based in Vietnam you can find him DJ'ing at The Lighthouse & WAM in Saigon and other top venues around the country.

En agrémentant ses sets sur-vitaminés façon “turntablist”, de surprises sonores et de scratch incisifs et malicieux, il marie les rythmes les plus entrainants et groovy à l’électronique percutante faisant surgir les émotions et la sensualité sur le dancefloor. 

Il a pu se produire en festivals, clubs et autres, notamment en première partie de groupe tel que, L’Entourloop, Balkan Beat box, Chinese man, Yarold Poupau, Guts, The Architect, Balkan Beat box, Dj Fly, Leeroy Thornhill, KDS, Dj Click, pour ne citer qu’eux… 

Ses sets et productions révèlent sa soif de création et d'exploration sonores offrant une perspective musicale anticonformiste et captivante, Valentin Walker déploie une musique qui touche au coeur, fédère le public et transforme le quotidien, plongeant son auditoire dans un état de plaisir intense.

En DJ set ou à bord de sa caravane son, prestation nomade unique en son genre fonctionnant à l'énergie solaire, Valentin Walker distille ses mixes et productions où il vous plaira.
