Valerie Rose is a songwriter and performer, from New York, who's voice comes with attitude. Gliding from sweet to sour, her powerful raspy voice and emotive phrasing pops traces of her theatre background. Dubbed the, "Female Billy Joel", because of her Long Island roots and scene-imagery lyrics, Valerie has a collection of original material that is unlike the traditional conversations and formulas of today's Pop and Rock realm. She writes about topics such as patriotism, self-reflection, promiscuity, and the #timesup movement. Hoping to awaken the music industry and contribute positive and thought -provoking songs, she is looking to be the voice that stirs emotion into an empathic era of pop culture music.

As for its leader, Jimmy Gnecco, after touring with everyone from Lana Del Rey to A-Ha, via Royston Langdon (Spacehog), Citizen Cope, Blue October, The Gutter Twins (Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan), ... he now holds the microphone in concert for the band Humanist, with whom he is touring Europe in 2024, whether as headliner in the UK (in October), or as opening act for Depeche Mode, or Jane's Addiction.

An alchemist of emotions, Jimmy Gnecco has put his heart and soul into the songs on this new album with his band OURS, “New Age Heroine” (released on September 20, 2024), to find a way of transcribing the complex range of feelings that define the humanity of each and every one of us, to offer the world something that transcends all that, in a surge of love, compassion, forgiveness, understanding... Or how to turn music and words into something more beautiful, something greater; like turning lead into gold.
