Precious Metals Vol.1 is the inaugural compilation from Precious Metals, a label, radio show, and club night.

Since its debut as a radio show on London’s NTS in 2012, Precious Metals has been committed to showcasing  the outer reaches of experimental club music, both locally and globally. Under the direction of DJ and producer Endgame—emerging from South London’s pioneering club collectives Bala Club and Endless. The platform has been focused on capturing the organic cross-pollination of sounds from the inner-city and the sublime chaos of the present moment.

In 2020, Precious Metals evolved into a full-fledged label, seeking to unearth artists that are visionaries on their own terms, eschewing conventional genre limitations. Representing an international roster of uncompromising, iconoclastic artists both established and emerging. Bringing an emotionally charged vulnerability to club culture.

The compilation encapsulates this ethos, and ambition, the culmination of the past 12 years of endeavour. Featuring some of the legends and emerging stars of electronic music.

United in compassion and solidarity for the Palestinian cause and its ongoing humanitarian crisis, all proceeds from the album will be donated to support efforts toward humanitarian aid in Gaza, and Palestinian emancipation.

Karpa, creativo, estilista y DJ barcelonés de 23 años, se ha consolidado como un descubridor clave de talentos musicales nacionales de la Generación Z. Actualmente apoya artísticamente al colectivo colomense @kuroketa, y su versatilidad lo ha llevado a pinchar en fiestas icónicas como @desacato_goblin, @pondeprerreo, @tormentoclub y @noworldparty, así como en eventos de moda como @scarpa_world. Una auténtica caja de sorpresas, Karpa siempre logra sorprender con el tema menos esperado en sus sesiones.

"Música para Transcorenas. El K-pop fue una parte importante de mi adolescencia, un género que nunca había visto representado en una sesión con un concepto sólido. En mi caso, me enfoco en la 2ª y 3ª generación del K-pop. Así que pensé: 'Fuck it, ¡KPOP DJSET!'—un viaje auditivo directo a Seúl."

Karpa, a 23-year-old creative, stylist, and DJ from Barcelona, has become a key figure in discovering up-and-coming musical talent from Spain’s Gen Z. He’s currently providing artistic support to the Colomense collective @kuroketa, and his versatility has taken him to perform at iconic parties like @desacato_goblin, @pondeprerreo, @tormentoclub, and @noworldparty, as well as fashion events such as @scarpa_world. Always full of surprises, Karpa never fails to drop the most unexpected track during his sets.

“Music for Transkoreans. K-pop was a huge part of my teenage years, but I’d never seen it represented in a set with a clear concept. Personally, I focus on 2nd and 3rd generation K-pop. So I thought, ‘Fuck it, KPOP DJSET!’—an auditory trip straight to Seoul.”
