With Symbiosis: Remix EP 6, Callecat inches ever closer to completing their ambitious remix journey of the Symbiosis album. From the very start, the remix campaign was conceived as a full reimagining of every track: all 13 songs from the original LP are being given fresh life, one by one. And now, with the release of EP 6, a total of 12 out of the 13 album tracks have been remixed, bringing the project into the home stretch.

The EP opens with an atmospheric and emotive Eichenbaum remix of 'Embracing Nature', originally composed as the collaboration between Callecat and Gustin, casting new shades of texture and depth over the Balearic-inflected original. The second track, the Mashk remix of 'Journey of Species' (Callecat × Juliane Wolf), continues the journey, recasting the melodic elements in a new light while preserving the driving spirit of the original.

Released on Manual Music, Remix EP 6 is not just another installment; it's a milestone. As the series nears completion, each release feels like a chapter in a greater narrative. By the time the final (13th) remix drops, the full Symbiosis story will have been told in two parallel forms: original and reinterpreted. Stay tuned for the grand finale.
