Godowsky's ethereal piano transcription of Camille Saint-Saëns' 'Le Cygne', taken from his musical suite 'The Carnival of the Animals.'

I started learning this piece about 3 weeks ago, after being inspired by Hamelin's live performance of the same work on YouTube.  Anyway I decided to record one of my play-throughs today and it didn't sound half-bad so here it is :P It's still light years from where I want it to be but I thought I'd just like to share one of my favourite piano works.  The main difficulties I faced when tackling this piece were the ridiculous key signature, complicated voicing and cross-rhythms between the right and left hands.  I'll probably record a proper one in another couple of weeks to see how much I improve.  In the meantime, enjoy! :D
