A Light Through The Clouds

This started out as a sound design experiment with heavily processed vocal samples. To me, they sounded like some otherworldly being screaming "Reach the Surface", as if it were crawling up from the depths of the Earth. It's a lot darker and stranger than anything I've released so far.

A mixture of moodiness and groove; upbeat on the surface but cold and melancholy underneath.

Hypothermia

My second EP heterochromia, out July 30th! I set out to make something a bit darker and stranger than duskdreamer, experimenting more with sound design and texture while still retaining a sense of melody. 3 of the tracks have been previously released as singles and 3 are unreleased. Hope you all enjoy it!

A surreal house-influenced track written in a hotel room in Los Angeles. I made this in a turbulent time in my life, when I was trying to escape from bad experiences in my hometown. I feel like it captures the sense of mystery and adventure I felt after leaving home, as well as the escapism.

valicension is an electronic artist who does blah blah blah...not sure what kind of pretentious third-person bio I'm supposed to write here, but I figured something was better than nothing. Ultimately, I'm just a human being. I want to connect with others through music, share the ideas that have changed my life for the better, and hopefully help people bring out the best version of themselves.
