Qiayz's music breathes opportunity and versatility. Influenced at the early age of 10 by a Hip Hop culture that summoned attention and raged with self expression,” I remember hearing Lil Kim's Hardcore album and falling in love with female hip hop, but it was Lauryn Hill's Miseducation album that set off my ability to began my poetic journey”. A journey that is personal. Growing up in the city of Chicago & suburbs of Phoenix , Qiayz began writing to express her illustrative and creative thoughts, she also collectively place you in her alter ego "La Beastress" through lyrical flows that breathe horror-core in a fictional tale. Although Qiayz is greatly inspired by such artists as Eminem, Lil Kim, Brotha Lynch Hung, and Busta Rhymes to name a few, Qiayz's art, is a unique flow with an indifferent, but new school feel. Working underground with various artists such as Sugawallz,Judge Da Boss, J-Murk, Delly the Rapper, Blayne R, Toure Masters, Futuristic, and Mic Echo, ultimately lead to her 2nd mixtape "Myriad of Murders". In the midst of the music, Qiayz has also branched out into making cameos in videos for Blackstarxx, Erik Crondo, and Ken Kong. Open to all genres of music, it's her passion. Expression through art is crucial to the ties that bind Qiayz together. Currently Qiayz is working on premiering videos to her long awaiting supporters this spring of 2012.
