Bethany Weimers is a folk-influenced alt-pop singer-songwriter who records and produces tracks from her home studio in Oxford. Her music has been heard on radio stations such 6 Music, Radio 3, Amazing Radio and BBC Oxford; and she has toured in both the UK and Europe. She has a Masters in Composition from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and combines her solo music career with work as a songwriter/producer for a global education publisher, alongside directing full-cast audio dramas. 

Musical influences include Agnes Obel, Sharon Van Etten & Nick Cave and fans have likened Bethany to artists such as PJ Harvey and the iconic Joan Baez.

An EP funded by a Help Musicians grant is due for release in early summer 2025.

Remedies is an alt-pop/rock duo from Narvik in Northern Norway, formed in 2016. The duo consists of Tor Erik Krane Ursin (multi-instrumentalist) and Sigrid Ravn Ryan (vocalist). Their music combines elements from various genres, blending in an original and dynamic soundscape. The duo compose, write, produce, and release their music independently.

Remedies released their first EP Delusions in 2019. The single “Crimson Mind” received attention and positive reviews from music critics, such as Obscure Sound and The Vents. The EP’s title track was picked up by Spotify and added to its "New Music Friday Norway" playlist. The Norwegian blog, Platespilleren, compared the duo to Bel Canto, Bertine Zertlitz, and The Cardigans.

Remedies released their first album, Lights Out on October 21st, 2022, after releasing the singles “Trapped”, “Psycho Scent”, “Holler”, “Putting On A Little Show”, and “White Noise”. The album received recognition from established music blogs and radio stations, among them, Deichman Musikk, Nordic Music Review, Conversations About Her, and Cheers To The Vikings.
