Composed,written&produced by Nokpante. Jakgitel- a prayer for peace, wherein various artists from A•chik a•song (Garo Hills) Meghalaya came for one cause and one song to pray for peace and love. The Artists thereafter raised charity funds and donated to the NGO Women Empowerment & Development Society (WEDS) who on the other hand got gifts and basic needs to the most poor and needy people of the region before christmas. The song was aired on Mtv Indies(India) from August 28 2015

Jakgitel (Nokpante Feat. Various Artists)

The Garos are indigenous people in Meghalaya, India and neighboring areas of Bangladesh like Mymensingh, Netrokona and Sylhet, who call themselves A·chik Mande (literally "hill people, or simply A·chik or Mande). They are the second-largest tribe in Meghalaya after the Khasi and comprise about a third of the local population. The Garos are one of the few remaining matrilineal societies in the world.
