This album was hugely inspired by the atmosphere of summer vacation, creaking seesaws, and solitude. I tried to transfer all these things in thoughtful soundscapes. 

It’s like a little journey to the silent countryside. This music was made for people who want to escape reality for some time and come back to the rhythm of a city with focused energy afterward. 

I started this recording creating the whole atmosphere and depth of the tracks using field recordings, and other noises of nature. It’s the reason why if you play this album sitting in your room with your eyes closed, you would be transferred to another world, where you feel the fragrances of wheat, cut-grass green and moist air. 

After creating the right atmosphere with field recordings, I was improvising with different musical instruments. I think that live improvisations are the key to an organic and textural sound: volume and airy pads play with the sounds of an acoustic guitar and muffled bells, sounding in the background. All these sounds comprise a beautiful symphony praising nature.

During the album recording sessions, I limited myself to a certain setup: electric guitar, looper, delay/reverb pedal, and a 4-track portable tape recorder. This helped me to concentrate on expressing the moods instead of being distracted by the necessity of choosing the instrument and timbre. Each track was a result of a single recording session. By means of sound, I tried to express some sort of a “stream” feeling; that’s why it was important to me to stay in this state myself, not to ruin the general picture and make the album as solid as possible.
