From the dance floor to the DJ-booth, VABU literally kickstarted into Hamburg’s Techno scene over the past five years. 
After collecting first DJ experiences at Bollwerk in her hometown Lübeck, she soon got involved with her crew ‚Harmonie im Bassgewitter‘ and played her first official gigs.

Her sound describes her feeling to the music, in the meantime she found what she loves and created an unique vibe with her mesmerizing rhythm, 
driving spheres combined with deep melodies and energetic percussions - she has several expressions to unfold, but it's mostly found in the subgenre Melodic Techno.

While playing throughout the clubs in Hamburg, she was quickly booked for venues in different cities in Germany as well as for festivals like Habitat, 
Feel Festival, Airbeat One & Pangea Festival and many more.

From this time forward VABU is a fixed part of the techno scene in Hamburg.
In the past VABU also had two asian tours in April 2019 and February 2020. 
She got her first release at Black 5 years of Jannowitz Records in Dec 2019 called ‚Assortative‘ - in addition to that she is working on more productions which she will bring to public soon.

OK, wir geben es zu, wir spielen eigentlich nur zusammen als 2komponentenkleber wegen der Covers für unsere Sets - Erwischt!

Diesmal haben wa ma wieder im Sisy-Tunnel randaliert und es gibt auch tatsächlich ne eklige Geschichte zu der Entstehung des Set-Namens: Achtung Nasen zuhalten! @oscarwandelofficial musste nämlich ziemlich leiden bei diesem Set, denn K.EULE hatte das ganze Set über schreckliche Blähungen. Der Sauerstoff wurde zum Ende rar, es wurden Räucherstäbchen entfacht und Bäuche massiert - armer Oscar, jedoch war das die Geburtsstunde von “Fart-Techno”! Zum Glück müsst ihr unser Set nicht riechen, aber hört rein!!!

Die neue Ausgabe des Jeden Tag ein Set Podcasts kommt in diesem Monat aus Hamburg, genauer gesagt von der jungen DJ Tommahawk. Die Nachwuchskünstlerin startet nach der Pandemie durch und spielte alleine 2022 über 40 Gigs in so gut wie jedem Club ihrer Heimatstadt und darüber Hinaus  .

Ihre Sets sind geprägt von druckvollen Basslines und verträumten Melodien, die einen mit auf eine Reise nehmen werden. So war es auch, als wir gemeinsam mit ihr eine schöne Zeit beim Burning Beach verbrachten und von ihr ein wirklich tolles Closing-Set zu hören bekamen. Natürlich mussten wir sie danach gleich für eine Podcastausgabe verpflichten.  

Freut euch auf über eine Stunde satten Sound mit viel Stil von Tommahawk aus Hamburg!

What a ride! The club, the crowd, the vibe -  left me speechless. Many thanks to the Südpol Hamburg crew for the warm care and to everyone who danced to my set. It was an honor to open this massive floor and play here for the second time. The first hour is a smooth warm up, till we reach the new SKADI hard groove sound.

RHEIN WAS ON FIRE...
...when I had the chance to play again at the great venue Artheater in Cologne for the wonderful BERGWACHT crew and the awesome people on the dancefloor! I was more than happy to play again at a Bergwacht event - for me it is family time <3 
I enjoyed every second of my DJ set and for sure the time before and after the set with the Bergwacht crew!

Inspired by the techno music of the last decades and many epic club nights which both experienced together, Lars & Andi decided to create their own music project, called VAMOS ART.

The sound of VAMOS ART is mainly characterized by driving bass lines and stunning breaks. Over the years Lars & Andi played a lot of inspired gigs around Europe and especially Germany together. In 2023 Lars decided to leave the music project. Andi will continue alone, so the hypnotic techno sound of VAMOS ART will still blow your mind away.
