"One day way back in our student housing days we were working on a remix and accidentally came up with a riff that had nothing to do with the song we were remixing. It sounded like it could be 'Electro'! We decided it needed it's own song. So we wrote 'Yellow Brick'. It probably got it's name from being a loud (brick) angry and acidic (yellow) song. Or maybe from something else. The breakdown bass patterns and filters are still a favourite at Noisia HQ. Enjoy." - @Noisia

The wait is over! Platinum Breakz 4 is here. Perhaps one of the most revered album series in drum & bass is back with a vengeance, and some are saying it maybe the best yet. This release is one of two samplers preceding the album.

First up we have cohorts DLR & Script with the Headz vocalist of choice Martyna Baker whom you may be familiar from her work with Goldie and Lenzman. 
The track opens as a gliding, subconscious led number that is wrapped in Martyna's velvet vocal. As the track moves towards its drop it becomes clear the vocal is a paranoid and claustrophobic affair and it reflects the instrumental very well in that the beautiful atmos draped intro becomes a mid-range bass led growler....
