 Brazilian band from São Paulo. Its founding members Feleex Duarte and Alexandre do Carmo met in mid-2010, at a meeting of fans of American band Evanescence.
 They decided to get together to play their favorite songs, and found that not content to just play songs of others. Then began working on his own compositions, and leaps and bounds, stresses creative and a good dose of horror movies was born the band Van Dorte.
 The sound carries a great emotional burden coupled with frightening touches and a hint of childishness.
 Apart from Evanescence, and the bands that established the New American Metal, members also influenced the soundtracks of the films of director Tim Burton (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, The Corpse Bride).

 Banda brasileira, paulistana. Seus membros fundadores Feleex Duarte e Alexandre do Carmo se conheceram em meados de 2010, em um encontro de fãs da banda norte-americana Evanescence.
 Decidiram então se juntar para tocar suas musicas favoritas, e descobriram que não se contentavam em apenas reproduzir musicas de terceiros. Começaram então a trabalhar em suas próprias composições, e a trancos e barrancos, estresses criativos e uma boa dose de filmes de terror nasceu a banda Van Dorte.
 O som traz uma grande carga emocional aliada a toques amedrontadores e uma pitada de infantilidade.
Além de Evanescence, e as bandas que consagraram o New Metal norte-americano, os membros também sofrem influência das trilhas sonoras dos filmes do diretor Tim Burton (O Estranho Mundo de Jack, Edward Mãos de Tesoura, A Noiva Cadaver).
