Slim Hustla is one of the first acts rooted in the lofi-approach to sometimes fun, often sad, always compelling house music which caught both my ears and the ears of those here at the station. They have ascended to legendary status as far as i'm concerned, with tracks like "She Broke Up When She Rolled Up," which helped me present a more palatable form of fuzzy, filtered house mixed with a twinge of r'n'b to an otherwise weary or uninterested audience, much to their delight. The gents from Denmark have described this mix as "emotional tunes for an emotional train ride." So you know what to do, get to a train ASAP and show some respect.
