Sorry Records is happy to welcome beloved long-time staple of the NYC dance underground Olive T for her sophomore release Birdin in Space — two new cuts full of ethereal synths, jacking grooves, spacey swirls, and cathartic release complete with remixes courtesy of two of our favorite producers from the Canadian techno underground -- Montreal's beloved Martyn Bootyspoon (Fractal Fantasy, LuckyMe, Haus of Altr) and Vancouver acid techno queen Overland (Sweat Equity, Naive, Cin Cin, Planet Euphorique).

You may know Olive T through her fantastic and prolific DJ work in NYC and beyond as well as her acclaimed self-released productions and releases/contributions via outlets such as Allergy Season & Discwoman’s Physically Sick series, Jubilee's Magic City imprint, New Orleans collective Trax Only, San Diego’s Banquet Records, Lychee’s label/zine Spontaneous Affinity, and the Fatherhood (Physical Therapy + Michael Magnan) curated mix comp for NYC house institution Nervous Records.

She’s a long time resident of Brooklyn’s The Lot Radio, resident at NYC institution Nowadays, early Discwoman affiliate, and has shared bills with folks like Honey Dijon, Acemo, Erykah Badu, Yaeji, Lauren Flax, Nitzer Ebb, Minimal Violence, Josey Rebelle, Shanti Celeste, Ash Lauryn, Norm Talley, Kai Alcé, Tedd Patterson, Turtle Bugg, Volvox, Rachel Noon, Umfang, Physical Therapy, Galcher Lustwerk, quest?onmarq, Dax J, The Carry Nation, Mike Simonetti, Patrick Russell, and Mike Servito.
