The 28th edition of our DECENNIUM series comes courtesy of Craigie Knowes founders, Mitch Hunter and Max Spittal.

Hailing from Glasgow and Perth, @craigie-knowes is a record label which has gained a reputation for furious, underground club cuts purpose built for the dance-floor. Since 2015 the label has released a prolific array of music from the likes of Jensen Interceptor, DJ Overdose, Carl Finlow, James Shinra, Cygnus and more. Beyond this they have also released two stellar compilations in support of the charity War Child of which the likes of Legowelt, Luke Vibert, London Modular, etc. have all supported and featured. 
 
Mitch and Max themselves are a renowned DJ duo, who would normally be found gigging around the globe pre-pandemic, spinning a diverse selection of underground electronic music soaked in attitude. Their exclusive, heavy-hitting mix for our DECENNIUM series perfectly showcases the Craigie Knowes sound and was an absolute pleasure to listen to and kept us moving from start to finish.

He's a regular staple at Lpools Meraki and long standing resident on Melodic distraction , has released on shubzin, das booty and most importantly started his own wicked wicked label INTERLOCK.  
Despite doing all this he still has the time to make appearences at what is dubbed 'the uks best party' the 12hr sunday service at Fold - 'UNFOLD'    
Truly a creature of all trades, you can expect this mix to have notes of his clinical machine like productions but dialled up to maximum heft - hes thrown down a proper dark hour of jungle, idm, techstep and I dont even know what to call the rest. This time, they’ve brought in the legend, Furney, who has expertly crafted an inspiring collection of music.  ‘My Hero King’ is the name of the album, which highlights Furney’s unmatched ability to create catchy grooves. Continuing to explore the realms of hardcore, our next guests for the podcast series is UK duo Local Group (LMajor & Corporeal Face). Keeping the rave spirit alive with hands-in-the-air euphoria, the mix showcases the sound they’ve forged as residents at UK festival Field Maneuvers - an 700-capacity event held at a secret location. Their residency has allowed them to play alongside friends and inspirations including Eris Drew, Violet, Photonz, 2 Bad Mice and DJ Storm. Local Group have also made contributions to the Secret Rave series, Corrupt Data’s Hardcore Will Never Die compilation and released a full EP on Ritual Poison.
